Murder Mystery and Feminine Power: Laura (1944) Movie Review
Nic cage is an American living legend
Well, I am NOT a speed reader and I had no problems with the subtitles. Sorry, don’t believe you. Also, Godzilla appeared within the first 5 minutes.
We do have flying cars. They are called helicopters.
Always interesting and provocative subject matter, Fred. Thanks for keeping us apprised of these current events!
Wait since when was he joker
The sub commander saving his friend was from "The Enemy Below" staring Robert Mitchum. Mitcham played a captain of a U.S. destroyer. Really good film..
It was a pretty bad boring movie nick cage was in it for maybe like ten minutes total. Don’t believe the hype I gave it a 4/10
Wild at heart was brilliant, sailor was fantastic
Never heard of Gen X?
"They" didn't invent the comedy/horror genre. It was the studio's idea and Abbott and Costello hated doing them because they felt the studio was telling them they couldn't carry a movie anymore.
Star Trek did at last two "remakes" of "Forbidden Planet:" the Cage (pilot episode) Where No Man Has Gone Before (second pilot)
I liked this review. There is a reason why modern tyrants seek to erase religion--competition for obedience. Not even family-loyalty to a significant other is stealing affection from the Glorious Leader. In the past, the king claimed to have descended from the gods. It was an improvement from the days when the leader WAS a god.
If I'm not mistaken, this was only the second time that Bela Lugosi as Dracula. Loved this movie as a Kid and have only grown to appreciate it more as an old man.
They let the monsters be scary anf abbott and costello be zany - its perfect
I haven’t felt that viscerally creeped out by a character in a scary movie for a really long time and it wasn’t just because of the makeup, I really enjoyed how he played it.
So who or what are they talking about ?
Whiplash it's a really good movie with good actors. Been a while since I watched it but the protagonist basically is mentoring under a brutal music teacher that's pushing him to do his best. It sounds like a simple premise but the writing and acting was so well done. At one point the dude just snaps because of how brutal the music teacher is. Whiplash is also the name of the jazz song they're doing. Take a look at some of the clips from it You might like it
Mr Cage is a GOATED actor! prolific
Saw this in the theater when I was 8🥶
Ophenhiimer is a very good movie, somewhat stymied by its last thrid. I saw it twice, once with my son, and once with my girlfriend. Deserved best film. But the better film by him for me is INCEPTION. Which I feel is the number one greatest film ever made.
In 1986, I got a video tape for me to watch on a Saturday, with my father. We got a call from one of our friends, so stopped the moive, which I was kind of enjoying, but they talked for a long time, and really ruined it. Ironically they are both Polish like turners character. This film was onAmazon recently, so after all these years, I watched in again. Curious that it got a 6.7 rating, I thought it would get over 7. Amazed that tehy don't mention John Huston, at leastr from what I have seen. WEll, after so many years, I am 67, and have to say, I don't think the film is not all that great. That Nicholson got an academy award nomination, and not for the joker, is beyond me. His performance for me is a joke, The way he talks, just so canned. During his scenes, which he does certainly not act like he woudl be Italian, I expected Charrol O'connor to burst out of his body. I felt he got nominated and the picture did fro two reasons. First Nicholson had a big comeback with Termsn of Endearment, and the film would be the last film that John Huston would see relieased in his lifetimee. His last film, THE DEAD, he did not live to see its release. Anjelica Huston was excelent in the fim. And Willima Hickey as teh don Prizzi was a standout as well. But really, not so great. John Huston has made better films I am sure we can all agree. But I will shock people here more, I think this flim is better than Maltese Falcon, one of the most over rated films I have ever seen.
This guy has no idea of how diverse Nicholas Cage is. Send someone that knows how to do an interview. ☮️
The young dude shouldn't be a critical if he's not going to watch the movie. He should have watched it again if, as he said, he didn't understand it. The movie isn't slow, he is. The movie was obvious if one pays attention. He didn't do his job and tried to play it off. I saw through him because he could only comment on the wedding scene at the beginning of the film. Prizzi's Honor is tongue in cheek, but you gave to pay attention. A 1 rating is for his lack of "understanding". The movie gets a strong 7.
"Mit der maus..." Best line, delivered FLAWLESSLY 😂
🎶 Sulu, he 💫 star of the show…others guys just along for the ride 🎶
I don't know of any such debate. That's fucking internet garbage. Silly. You wanna see a movie? Watch Adaptation... Cage at his best.
I honestly think Nicolas Cage is one of the greatest actors. Hes literally had the best comeback in a acting career. Longlegs, mandy, pig, color out if space, willys wonderland
Nick cage is nick cage
He’s a very Nicolas Cage actor
Americans need to UNLEARN the word "LIKE" FFS 🙄
The Brits are elite because they abolished slavery. So what if they invented apartheid and colonized half the world.
I love Downfall and Look Who’s Back. More people need to see both of these movies.
Movie was absolutely amazing. Wish more people knew about it
Whiplash is a perfect movie
The film is absolutely garbage.
The world craves order. Without language, borders, and culture, who are any of us? This movie was hilarious, but also very serious. We can all agree, I hope, that Hitler was evil, but this movie illustrates how we accepted that evil. He was elected democratically, after all, and we all love our democracy.
The interviewer is a little boy...lol
The german navy was just about the least "Nazi" of them all.
If you think nick cage is a bad actor we have nothing more to talk about
Drive carefully dear !!! 😅😅😅
You should try watching snooker in black and white
The young guy is way out of his depth. He didn’t even understand it
Rodriguez Lisa Thompson Daniel Johnson Betty
Clearly this interviewer hadn't seen leaving las vegas
Giving the greatest anti war movie and one of the most realistic sub marine movied a 6/10 ??? What a pitty😢
Johnson Angela Miller Donna Lee John
I believe the David Lynch movie that Nic Cage plays Sailor in is Wild at Heart with Laura Dern. I could be wrong, it's been years since I've seen it, but I remember loving that movie.
He definitely killed this role hands down
I liked the psychiatrist the best, but the Waldorf salad was also very great.
This interviewer is so young & completely unlearned or naive . Nicholas Cage is a very good actor. People who love to watch movies & I mean film buffs that have collections of 100s if not thousands of movies know a Great Actor from a terrible actor. The fact is that he is asking if Cage was a good actor or a bad actor. That tells me he is not a good movie critic or was born in the mid-2000s & hasn't seen any movies that Cage has been in since the late early 90s. I hope he improves his profession because that question, not knowing if Nicholas Cage is a good actor or terrible actor ? I can't take views from the interviewer seriously.
Joker was a saint compared to Long Legs.
