    We use apollo (new to your teaching) and have had good lucky. what does Snov do differently that makes it worth the purchase?

    • @doubleyourfreelancing
      @doubleyourfreelancing 8 днів тому

      Hey, nice to meet you. :) The logic of Snov vs. apollo for emails is that Snov has a much better and more thorough quality process for email addresses. If you're enjoying apollo as your leads DB, you could test this by using an email checker tool (to check for bounces, etc) on a sample of ~100 domains from apollo, and then grab emails for those domains from snov and compare. The cold outreach pro, Thomas, whom I've worked with and partnered on the course was quite adamant about not using emails straight out of apollo due to data quality issues. Something like snov or hunter will help make sure your emails are going to the right people. (But you could always split test a campaign where you send half to apollo emails and half to snov emails and let us all know how your reply rates differ :) )

      @@kiaorioncreative I know Thomas prefers Instantly, but Snov's been doing a lot of feature development, so if it's good it's good. When you go through 200kf, I'll have a checklist of like, "Your email sending tool needs to do all of these things" so if Snov ticks all the boxes, it's fine by me. (A different student was asking me about using her pre-existing ECRM as well)

    I hear what Cole is saying when he says to make it for yourself and get your own social proof. Cuz if you lack the skills to help clients convert (despite being a good writer), you're gonna be found out 10/10 times. BUT if a client simply doesn't have an EEC (but has a following or email list) or just has poor quality emails they're sending out, what you can create (even thought it's untested for conversions) COULD STILL get them significantly better results. Or maybe you just test out charging vs not charging with VOLUME and recording Loom videos for dozens of people.

    Wow, I can so relate to this. Having hyper focus and attention challenges is tough as a freelancer. I’ve learned that I follow a cycle and it eventually works. It works okay, but I'd challenge you to find ways to get ahead of the procrastination loop - have you tried things like focusmate or accountability buddies or live coworking, etc? Something where you're not always brushing right up against a project deadline (that's what most of us ADHDers end up doing, is always waiting til the last minute before something's due 😂- the systems above can help artificially recreate that feeling)

      @@doubleyourfreelancing I have heard of Focusmate but haven't tried it. I might have to give it a go! It's not a great way to work I'll admit. :)

    Just watched this after spending a ridiculous amount of time sending proposals on Upwork that will be ignored. Even with a job success score of 100, Upwork is a struggle. Also, who lands clients on Upwork for $50 per hour or more? I didn't think that was possible. If you're getting those rates, well done. I've been on Upwork for three years now and have never reached those levels as a designer.

    Very well said, thank youvery much! You should definitely deserve more subscribers, as your content has really high value. I have two clients I have been work with for about 6-9 years and realised I haven't rised the rates since the beginning, for one client I am on 20$ and second 30$. I was too bussy with day-to-day work to realise I am underpayd. Do you think I should go rather for small 30% increase or go straight with some high number?

      @@doubleyourfreelancing Hey thanks for the reply, in the meantime I just raised rates to 30$ with no objections as I am really bringing value for them and I also received positive feedback on my work. :) Yeah I took your 9 lessons e-mail course and I also printed all of them so I have a handy booklet to read anytime :) Anyway I really enjoyed it and would like to sign up for the "Double Your Freelancing Rate" course!

    Thank you Zach - very good advice on positioning as an educator. I've downloaded your Fundamental Needs Worksheet and look forward to going through it! Jason
