The brushes I'm using are Round brushes 12, 9, 3,1, 5/0, a cats tongue brush (used to create feather texture), a grass comber (used to put markings on the fence) and a stiff flat brush for lifting paint, None of them are special makes, just fairly cheap ones off of Amazon. There's a materials list in the description if you're interested.

Thank you! Though it's not as hard as it might look at long as you use the line drawing and a fine brush. Don't suppose you know what breed of sheep it is? I loved the reference photo but don't know a huge amount about sheep. There are some easier tutorials on my channel. Good luck with your painting journey!

@@pecaraarts5852 truthfully I don't know - might be a devon long wool or a romney - both have the white fae and the wooly curly wool. Either way, YOUR sheep is gorgeous!! And I have checked your channel and you have some great tutorials!!

You're welcome, I enjoyed doing it. Thank you for the kind comments! The main thing about painting realistically is that is takes much longer than painting in a loose style and you need a fairly steady hand and small brushes for details. You also get better with practise, I'm certainly still learning and come across new challenges with different pictures. Hope you enjoy having a go.
