You knit too many rows. It's knitting. You can just pull out a few rows, to make them even. You can also take a crochet hook and chain up where those stitches ran. Knitters do it all the time. Take heart. It isn't a fail, it's a learning experience.

I recently bought some bargain yarn, only to find it's been discontinued. I'm not sure I'll have enough to finish my project. If the same thing happens with temu, either you won't be able to locate the same yarn, or will have to wait a while to get it. Doesn't look like that good value, although i like the novelty nuclear glow in the dark stuff.

I like to touch/feel the yarn before i purchase to make sure it will work well with my project. I just will wait for a sale or use a coupon but temu has other interesting items but i am very, very cautious.

I wonder if the crochet hooks are for weaving in the ends? Or connecting squares together, like granny squares? I received some with a circular needle package, and that was my first thought..🤷‍♀️

If you knew the abuse that packages go thru at the mailing warehouses, you'd understand the importance of all that tape. (Be thankful for it.)

Practice makes perfect! I like those. I like the doubling up too. I do my toe with just the pull and gather method. No seam at my toe really.
