Q: What is happeneing here? Why is this called the Doom Mix?
A: Shot live at the actual Mt. Doom in New Zealand where the one ring was forged and then destroyed in the Lord of the Rings trilogy by Peter Jackson, written by J.R.R.Tolkien, this mix is a loving homage to both the genius of Tolkien and the cinematic historical achievement by Jackson. It focuses on the idea of Destruction as part of chapter being explored in the Tandava series. This is done by referencing various fictitious themes and characters and their motives, from the LOTR series. These reflections are largely abstract and left to the listener's interpretation however there are some strong points of discussion or inference.

A: The glorious and brilliant history and culture of the Japanese has for long been a big influence on the various avatars of DMT and SN INC. This piece was captured a week before DMT performed the ancient samurai ritual of 切腹 in December 2023. It was done for a different reason by trained professionals.
