Is there any better food on earth better than a great pie..........I think not.....

The pie appears to be a day old, and pie lid squashed. they stack the trays on top of one another it prevents the pie lid from rising properly.

Ooh pineapple in a pizza pie - now that’s a controversial call. TBH I’m partial to having a bit of fruit in my savoury. Gotta be happy with that!

This is where I usually fill up with petrol. I’ve tried a Pie Face Pasty from there once and not bad for a servo one, I’d give it a 6/10.

South Australia has some great bakeries, the Orange Spot at Glenelg is famous. I used to go to Blair Athol Primary school for a year.

The pie face pies actually look good, but thats about it. Nothing really memorable enough for me to rush out for another.

Pie Face pies are super overrated. The last time I tried one (from this exact servo) it was burnt quite severely.

They keep them cold up here (Cairns) until you want one, and they'll microwave it for you upon purchase. Not even very good tasting pies tbh.

You could get a pie like that in every lunch bar until mrs macs came along and fucked it all up

Hi Marty, a mate and I stopped in a while ago on a whim to try the pepper steak. $7.50 was dearer than most country bakeries. The pie was ridiculously hot, pastry was hard and what meat was in the pie was very chewy. Didn't get any pepper until the last bite. Considering they are backing themselves in with the name " Pie Face" the overall pie experience was pretty bad.

Try Kerry Road bakery in Glen Waverley Melbourne. I’ve been going there for years. Best pies and cakes. Brilliant sandwiches too.

On the gold coast qld there is 4 pie shops that make good pies filling good but some are calling there pies craft or gourmet ones...fall apart. Always with foil under Neath.....good coverage of pies you do....jim

A little more detail into ingredient quality ie. Meat gravy pastry would be good. Not bad and I've had better doesn't cut it for a review.
