My personal experience is that non nutritive sweeteners do cause a decrease in fat burning. I've been on a mission to get a 6 pack since January 2023. From that date to March 12th 2024 I lost 40 pounds but hit a road block. My AB's were not present. On March 12th I stopped using Stevia in my coffee. As of today 5-24-24 since that date I've lost 5 additional pounds and my AB's are peeking through now. Not a full 6 pack but a 4 pack with the rest surely to arrive by summer. I'm a firm believer that the Cephalic Insulin response is real and hinders fat burning.

Would love to know how to do the layout. From the beginning. As if teaching someone who has never used ThinkOrSwim.

I was following the macD today while trading 0dte spx. at end of day i switched to 5 or 10 min interval to look back and it made so.much more sence! Do you know the optimal interval? I see you are at 15?

Hello Lee, thanks for the indicators and great explanations what they are. I got my setup similar to yours and been study the correlation between these indicators and the spx price action. Do you mind sharing how you use these indicators (in addition to others - I added Hull MA to my chart) to scalp spx? These indicators have lots of values, but I have yet know how to use it. thx again!

Hi @LeeSpaziano, I was interested in taking a look at this again. I still have it runnable on a computer. Is there an existing way to only get trade suggestions for a certain delta range? In my option trading journey I've found I want trades .20 delta or less. I don't see anything on the screen to choose. Thank you.

Think Or Swim defaults to the mid-point on price, which is sometimes maddening because it often results in an order with a *half cent* added on, which is then *REJECTED* when you try to submit it. So, after I lop that off, I submit it and am prepared to WAIT for a while. That doesn't necessarily mean that I will get the mid point but often the price will change enough that it will eventually be filled. But why reject a *LIMIT* order for $0.505? After all, a limit order is for that price *OR BETTER!* So why not just treat it like a 51 cent sell order?

Dumb question ... is your edge calculated correctly? If you have a 40% chance of losing 319 or 60% chance of winning 181, that doesn't seem like a good trade. You would have a negative expectancy.

Lee A great presentation. This topic is fascinating to me. I love how you stated….for you, artificial sweeteners do not raise your insulin response. For you that for sure appears to be the case and but we need to caution ourselves. You took your blood after a 40 hour fast, then again 15 minutes after ingesting the artificial sweeteners. I would like to see after 30 minutes, 60 minutes and after 120 minutes. Not that things will change but will be good for documenting my next comment. Would have like to have seen you on another day do another 40 hour fast, test again, then take a teaspoon of sugar then test again. Then A better test would be; See the levels during a normal course of eating for 3 days (eating the same meals) without artificial sweeteners.. Then the same meals for 3 days with artificial sweeteners. Fasting for 40 hours can be therapeutic for many and Reverse the impact of sugar or artificial sweeteners.

Watched the ADD and Vold as the market opened on Mon 4/10/23... mkt went down premkt.. ADD was at -minus 1200, turned green and proceeed to go to +550... spy went up a few dollars in that time span.. VOLD went up accordingly... SPY odte 407 calls went from .69 to 1.02... +30%.. about an hour trade... they work very well. thanks..P

I’ve seen rules of thumb for selling credit spreads, such as strikes, such that: + Credit collected is at least ⅓ of the strike width, and; + The probability of the short strike being out of the money is 68%. The problem is finding potential spreads that meet these criteria exactly. Is there at least a rough formula that uses both the (credit collected / width) as well as the probability OTM? Offhand, I’m wondering if just adding the two would result in a neutral-ish _”figure of merit”_ (to borrow an engineering term) to compare two spreads. IOW, if I give up a little of one to gain a little more of the other, what are my statistical chances of having a _”better”_ spread?

I am looking at yours three and was able to DL two of them and installed inside the TOS, however, I have a few questions if you can help in designing the indicators. I like the ($TICK) chart, but the settings that you have on there are perfect, however, each candles did not conform to the actual trading chart itself.
