If I see a tunnel, I must fly in it! And put some funky freestyle in the wind. 💨🤸🏻 This time it was a cozy 10-footer in the Kazan-city. The capital of republic of Tatarstan. 👌🏻

This is this year's National championship routine. You can compare it to last year's performance and see, how much Anna have grown as a flyer.
Still one of my favorite routines I ever choreographed. 🥰

Can you work on freestyle elements in small tunnels? Yes, you can ✨. For example, you can work on the precision of your rotations. 🌪️ The space is limited, so every small mistake leads you to the wall. 🙂 The size really disciplines you to stay in center. Of course, bigger, more spacious moves and dynamic lines are better left for big tunnel, but if you only have a small guy around, you can still learn trick or two. 👌🏻
And yes! We always learn both ways! ☝🏻

I'm interested but I think it needs a bit more detail how to do it. I just don't understand how to gain enough time to practice because the Ifly place where I live doesn't do very long sessions. How often do you recommend to practice? Maybe you could also show how to cross train for example on trampolines
It takes hours to learn that stuff. To fly long sessions you need to become a sport flyer and buy time for a special sport rate. Then you can start your practice from like 15 min a day. This exercise in particular for pro-flyers, who has from 30 and more hours of tunneltime. Trampolines are not helping to the tunnel, quite opposite actually. Would not recommend as side sport. Yoga, pilates, stretching help, gymnastics.
Gotta keep practicing too for the sake of teaching my students good quality flying ✨.
