I do, too, Mark. This is the spot where Lake Michigan and Lake Huron meet. The Mackinac Bridge was constructed to connect our Lower and Upper Peninsulas, particularly in the winter, when the Straits used to freeze over. It's a lot easier to cross on the bridge than by ferry!

Agreed! I have focused on daffodils, because I knew the deer (and other critters) don't eat them. But they leave the narcissi alone as well. I will be buying more bulbs this fall. These photos came out particularly well, because the light was just right when I went out.

I don't know who our full-throated, frantic friend is. I was excited to find my phone in my pocket, so I could record him or her and study up later. I have to listen more for other birds, too.
