I believe it was $200. A little steep but worth it for something I’ve never seen before and could have historical significance. Sadly I haven’t got any reply from either the trading post or from the Miss Navajo nation. My research on it is, for now, at a pause until I can find a community source to inquire about it😊

I’ve been busy lately doing my other at home business. It’s been pretty time consuming but fun at the same time. Sadly my local thrift with the big jewelry sale has stopped doing them 😪 and they briefly closed before reopening their store. I haven’t been back to see it in person, but maybe soon. The crown is pretty amazing. Right now it’s sitting in my dresser. I haven’t any clue how to store or display it yet. I haven’t heard of a crown like it until I did some research. Luckily I got to it first. Another gentleman had asked the workers if there was another one when he saw me walking away with it. More research is probably needed, but for now it’ll stay with me 😉

I still have a backlog and have been neglecting my UA-cam for quite a while. Life’s been busy and trying to find a happy medium. But it is great to post a video now and then 😊

Thank you. I was so thankful to have come upon this sale. I think in total I went back three times. Every time I went to my car I ended up just dropping off what I bought and going back. The sellers kept commenting, “You’re back!” 😂 It was definitely a once in blue moon kind of sale.

Yeah I buy sterling not to sell to a refinery, but just to sell online or add to my personal collection. Sometimes some sterling can be of more value than its weigh (ie. Designer pieces or antique/vintage). I do have a little pile of scrap sterling that I’m holding on to just because the price of sterling is so low right now. But the sterling I do pickup I sell on Poshmark and it’s definitely profitable when I sell a piece I bought for $1 and make $20 of it.

@@gabbygabbygirl 22k was at an estate sale and yes bought all the jewelry at church for 75.00 have found 400.00 in scrap in that buy so far. It was quite a rainy Saturday.

Wow congrats on your amazing haul! I love going to sales on the weekends and buying all the treasures that hold little to no value to others but is worth tons to me, either monetarily or just as an amazing piece to add to my personal collection.

Also I'm curious what you would have done if the woman would have agreed to sell all the jewelry for one price to the other lady. Would you have said something? I would have been so bummed if someone swooped in and bought it all.

@@gabbygabbygirl Thank you. I think if she had bought the rest of the jewelry I had hoped that the sellers would’ve at least let me keep the pile I had already made. As soon as I heard her ask for a price for all, I had immediately started filling my box with jewelry that I thought was worth it. It was literally 2 second decision per piece. I was basically throwing pieces in my box as quick as I could. I only slowed down a little when their deal fell through. It definitely worked out in my favor, even though I’m sure the other lady got some good pieces as well. It did help her that she had her husband and daughter helping her fill up her box. In the end everyone won 😉

Thanks. Glad to be back! Garage sales haven’t been too bad recently. There’s many misses for every one good hit. Pricing at some can be discouraging but don’t give up. It’s rare to see some eBay pricing for jewelry in my area. However, thrifting has been pretty horrendous in my area, and I very rarely go to any stores in my area. Goodwill sends all the good stuff online and my only good local thrift I had recently closed down. It looks like yard sales are the way to go now. I know there are weekends I find one thing, and others when I hit the jackpot. Hope your luck turns around 😉.

Hi 👋. Garage saling has been good. It’s been pretty good weather so far so people have been out every week selling. And I’ve been buying 😅. My bank account doesn’t like it but I love it. Oddly it’s calming to get out, get my mind off of other things, and get to do what I love. The salt cellars were not sterling sadly. They have been rehomed as well. Sadly my favorite local thrift has closed down so no more jewelry finds from them (unless I have prerecorded a haul from them that I have yet to post). But I can’t wait to show a great haul I had recently. It’ll probably be two videos from now, but I found amazing stuff. Thanks and good luck to you too ❤️
