What size tires do you have on the saleen staggered set?

Enamel reducer will take the orange off with out hurting the other paint

The car wasn’t sold at auction with all the electronics you put all that on so why not remove the orange? If I was gonna leave the orange I’d have left it exactly how it was sold at auction. Just my opinion. That blue, turbo, T top 4eye was amazing also. Hope to get my 85 up there next year.

100% get rid of the spray paint leave the original deckles, but get rid of the spray paint it ruins the car

Use GOOF OFF and take the spray paint off. The cops won't hassle you about the decals.

Back in the 80's here in Miami drug dealers would always get their cars repoed or confiscated and the Police would repaint (they had no wraps) and use them. The City of Miami had a Porsche 911 SC and the local troop for the FHP down here in my area had this 1983 280ZX Turbo and I'd see it all the time running up and down the Turnpike...especially at night! lol - - - and of course the Mustangs were all out there too!!!

Another thing...knowing it's from the south how does the undercarriage look?...it would be cool to see how well preserved it is...I would love to catch up with you on Instagram...what a cool find man!...and I agree with the other guys I would clean up the steelies and center caps and keep them on it...I would keep it forever!

Me personally I would take the orange off...it will make it that much more of a show piece and a piece of history in my opinion without the orange

I never liked turbine wheels back in the day but seeing a nice clean GT with them like this one always punches me right in the feelers these days. Love it.

"Needle in a haystack" is an understatement....that 1990 auction had up to 90 SSP's up for grabs....you end up with the one whose tag was hanging on a wall in Canada for years just waiting for your web search.... If you pull off the interior door trim panels, one of them should have a broadcast sheet attached to the backside of the trim panel.

I called the dealership that my car was at sold at and they sent me a new sticker for the back.

Try a magic eraser on the orange paint it worked fantastic on our motor home.

Nice car for sure but if it was a dealership option then it’s not a rare car now if it was a factory edition then yes it was rare like the 25th edition with a badge on the dash, Could you imagine if some random dealerships did the same crap ? We’ll have all these people from all over claiming they got some special car when it’s really a regular car with some JC WHITNEY “25th anniversary “ decals! There’s cars in NJ,NY,CT that got JC WHITNEY keychain’s does that make them special hellz no!
