Phil Layton

Приєднався 22 сер 2011
In 2009, Phil Layton began making short digital films, and decided to brand them all in their credits with the name 'Catullus Films', a reference to a favourite film company distributing films of note - 'Janus Films'. Over the last 10 years, the skills and production values of Catullus Films have steadily developed, and in 2019 Phil Layton embarked on an M.A. in Filmmaking at Bangor University in North Wales. Phil's thesis film is called 'For the Duration'. Look out for it in 2020.
For the Duration
A special agent travels across various landscapes towards the goal of his mission. He arrives at a strange dreamlike place where he is confronted with his past actions, and in a dramatic act of rebirthing he leaves his past behind.

Pleased you appreciate it.
Well done Phil, love it.
Thanks Tim.
is this a visual poem?
I think so.
Hello Phil, I read your description and was intrigued by the idea of visual poems - is this a visual poem?
Yes. For me anyway.
@@phlytn50 What makes something a visual poem?
Fantastic!!! Vintage Stoetzler!
Ancient Stoetzler actually.
Nice one Phil.
Cheers!
some wonderful moments. Thanks, Mary
I have just watched this again. I love this video. It seems such a long time ago that we were so cold. There is a strange atmosphere, almost existential in that we are present where we are, yet we are here too. I miss you all. Lots of love Mary
I'm pleased we have made this as a record, and that you have been back to revisit it. X
Great Video, looks like hard work!! Tim
