Yeah, it's a blessing and a curse. It's nice not being in the national spotlight so you don't have people coming from all over to crash your spots but it also means getting overlooked like you mentioned. Really big fish are hard to come by here, which is exhausting sometimes, but it also makes it that much better when you land something special. They have been naturalized here for hundreds of years. Catch and release carp angling is a growing sport. Highly recommended

I use the 37mm mostly. Anything smaller than that is too small. Bigger mesh would be fine too but I've never bothered with the 44. I'll do 37mm for pack bait, particles and for boilies. I like mesh better than bags. I feel like mesh ties better and breaks down better

@@ShtarkerFishing Thanks. I learned something else from you and I was wondering about it. I guess cream corn doesn't melt Pva. I was trying to think of a way to wet the jello without the pva melting and I thought cream corn melted it so I didn't want to try it.

I legit started with two cheap 8' telescoping rods and spinning reals off of Amazon. Most people start with pretty basic setups and slowly build their gear overtime. We're a pretty active group and you can find someone out just about every week. We're a catch and release carp angling group and we essentially follow the guidelines that the American Carp Society recommends. I'm glad you liked the content!

It's definitely not the cheapest on the market. It was 300 less back when I got it which is still pricy. The range of prices in kayaks these days really pushes you to consider exactly what you need them for versus another vessel. You can get a decent used boat for what some kayaks are selling for. Price vs needs are important when making this decision.
