The catalyst is e46 m54. I want to install bmw e60 M54. Is it the same ?will go without modification?
Honestly I don’t know but I think it will bolt on to the motor just won’t line up with the bottom flanges but like I said I don’t know fs sorry bud
They are the same depending on the liter of the engine I have 2 e46 the 330ci catalyst fits but the 325i I have doesn't you would have to swap muffler system all together
hey bro where did u get the new fuse from to replace the old ones, i changed the bulb a couple days ago but neither of them turn on still so i wanna rule out the fuse theory before i go in to mess with the actual wiring
I bought them off Amazon 🤙there’s a whole kit for all fuses for different cars so that’s the one I recommend I haven’t had any problems with them

Search up, “BMW No-Crank, No-Start (intermittent)”, pine hollow auto diagnostic.
I fixed it two years ago it was a bad clutch switch harness.I spliced a new one in and she fired right up👌
@@neighborhoodgearhead2958 I’ll make a vid on the wires if u could tell me which one, I saw a vid where u could splice the yellow and purple with the black and blue and u don’t need to push the clutch in after that, is that what your talking about?
@lukecameron519 yes but I wanted to keep it as stock as possible so I left the neutral safety switch so I still have to press the clutch in like stock.I just put the pig tail that connects to the sensor.

Hey bro my headlight harness was loose and was rubbing up against my tire . My driver side light low/high beam don’t work . Do you know where I can find a replacement for a 2003 Nissan 350z ? Is it hard to mess with the harness
If you know how to do wiring then it shouldn't be a problem but I do think the light harness disconnects from the rest of the harness so it should make it easy to replace if needed.
What you do replace the fuse I’m guessing? What fuse number is it??
Hey yes I did replace the fuse and I don't remember the fuse number off the top of my head but I think I explaine in the video what fuse it is and where it's at.

did you end up rotating the flanges? also did you have to extend where the flanges were? i heard they could be too short
I haven't yet but I am just going to rotate the flanges in the second portion of the exhaust so it's a bit easier to do.
@@neighborhoodgearhead2958 so were you running with just open flanges then? and im rotating the flanges on the headers as they aren't fully installed yet but im doing it at my school. im just overthinking everything and hope nothing comes up where i have to go back to stock as i attempted it before but found out they were rotated 90 degrees and gave up for 6 months.

where can i find the rear fender?
It depends I mean if you want to stay oem find someone selling the rear quarters or you should be able to find body kits online that are very similar.The ones that are on my car now are cheap fender flares the previous owner put on so there bad I don’t recommend.

I did the same thing on my 330ci but I used an oem front bumper and fitment is flush
Hell yeah well I hope I find one for a decent price I was able to get ahold of some oem m3 rear quarters for $20 so hopefully I get to show you guys that next month🤙

the x pipe needs to be closer to the engage to give a better sound, this is my ford 4.9 litre i6 with my custom X pipe system but its only a ft and 2 inches from the ports on the head and is a split manifold setup aka 3 front and 3 rear that join together in a Y or as duals out, My setup here ua-cam.com/video/nFNZJ_vNq7E/v-deo.html
He did this half wrong. The blue hose goes from the egr into the vacuum solenoid thats also in the back of the manifold. Then that white/black check valve also comnects to the vacuum solenoid to the intake manifold. Look at the diagram he shows.
Hey sorry I dont mean this in a rude way but my vacum solenoid is connected after the white and black filter.If you want me to show you I am happy to.Some e46s run it before and some run it after.
You should have replace that line too as it will also be a poor condition. But it is not in the right location The one way valve prevent oil flow from the engine cover without it or wrong position you can get oil into the vacuum switch and clog it. The diagram is correct your last installer was not. . Also tie up the blue line away from the engine or you may get more leaks soon.
im gona be tackling this job this week, i car idles like shit until it warms up then all is good, so i suspect its this line i need to refresh, i also already replaced my intake boots, upper and lower, DISA. cleaned, ICV and throttle body. and changed cam intake sensor. still i have ruogh idle and lean codes. its most most likely a stubborn vac leak.
Sounds like a vacuum leak I would purchase a evap smoke machine to find out exactly where it's at.I am going to soon because these e46s having 20 year old hoses and Seals go out and it will save you time and money to find exactly where the leak is and replace that part.

No I just rebuilt the car from a shell so I already had the front end off

you know you can remove the secondary air pump and the line that you installed without a problem. is an easy way . have a look on the net. good video.
