You're doing a fantastic job! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Platinum Angel is another way to get around Phage's etb
An excellent card to have in the deck. And not too bad on the wallet either!
This is cool.
It is a cool card!
Don't forget that protection also prevents a creature from being equipped! I had an opponent save themself from losing the game by giving my voltron commander protection from white and causing its Lion Sash to fall off.
That is a fantastic observation! Thank you for pointing that out I will remember that for the future.
When I was a little kid, one of my friends had Akroma. We were mostly playing with inefficient commons and didn't really know what we were doing gameplan-wise so when Akroma came down it always felt like game over. Especially as I was on mono-black and relied on kill spells to stay in the game. I feared and respected her so much that I still hold the card with a certain degree of awe. I have one copy for each version of her art just for the satisfaction that the card I used to dread and envy so much is safely in my possession even if I seldom play her. Absolutely iconic card for me.
I love that story!! For us, it was my sliver legion. Such a great card and that's awesome that you have other art styles of the card!
I also run her as a Commander, just rebel tribal, went really well for a few games but it does have infinite life combos and after only winning 2 out of the first 6 games i just get targeted now.
Oh wow that's cool that it powerful enough to have a target. Is it the infinite life combo that made that target?
Using rebel like task force and Animal Boneyard like cards to make infinite life, it's really easy to get and repeatable, my play group goes more non-commander damage. So it's get killed before hand so they don't have to worry about it
Ah gotcha, still that is cool that it's earned it's reputation.
Built in repeatable overruns are awesome
Indeed haha.
I was just checking this card out thinking about all the Foundations cat synergies !
Ooooh yeah cats for the win!!
Putting vigilance on Eesha or as you mentioned finding ways for him to block multiple creatures was always fun and strong, helped inspire me to become the voltron player I am today, that and going wide with bird tokens 🦅
That's awesome! Both are very fun strategies!!
With a lot of untapping abilities arcanis us super fun. I use to combo him with mind over matter to draw my entire deck and combo off or lab maniac
Very cool. I love that!!
Wait, what? Regenerating a creature taps it? What about attacking....if it is blocked by a 6 you can't regen it?
The whole point of a trample 8/5 to run over something, still take the hit and survive
I should have been more specific in my description. This is the wording found in rule 614.8: “Regenerate [permanent]” means “The next time [permanent] would be destroyed this turn, instead remove all damage marked on it and its controller taps it. If it’s an attacking or blocking creature, remove it from combat.”
@@lilmacgaming1 removing from combat negates the trample....this makes no sense. Say there is x/1....x/1 is a target of multiple...er sparks (2 damage) I can pay forest after forest for each spark...
I guess I'm ignorant on all the multiple rule changes since my boy mogg fanatic became obsolete
I dunno how to play magic...it's become Yu-Gi-Oh convoluted
So if the onslaught legendaries you're referring to is Arcanis, Jareth, Visara, and Silvos, all 3 of them are 3 colored pips and 3 generic mana in the mana value. (I actually had to look up Silvos, and Visara, because I forgot they existed. My brain kept telling me Cabal Patriarch and Kamahl even though I knew patriarch was the previous block and Kamal didn't fit the mana theme)
My Rorix Bladewing deck started out as a Pauper Commander deck but I've since made it a normal EDH deck. I too use Crucible of Fire and I try to include a bit of ramp in it (although your approach with treasures may be better than what I have going now which things like mana rocks and stuff like Wayfarer's Bauble.) For the most part I've built it into a voltron deck to get in for maximum commander damage. It's actually had its share of victories and it genuinely makes my opponents nervous to see it hit the field. Great video, keep up the good work.
That's really cool. I love that. One the earliest dragon decks i ever saw playing magic actually focused on mana reduction cards like dragons peaked shaman and ruby medallion as it's source of ramp. it's cool the deck gained a fearsome reputation too!! Thank you very much for watching and for the great comment.
You should note that a use of Arcanis' self bounce ability is creating copies where you bounce the original in response to Legend Rule triggering.
I like the idea, but if I understand the legend rule correctly. It's not a triggered ability but a state based action. Players can't interact to state based actions so unless you have a way to bypass or ignore the legend rule, you will have to sacrifice one of the arcanis before doing anything else.
@@lilmacgaming1 valid point, I was mistaken.
I like the idea, though. Maybe a copy deck that cares about casting, ETB, or death triggers after you sacrifice the copies. And since arcanis can always bounce itself, you can always save the original while getting a unique type of advantage, creating or sacrificing the copies. Like mono blue token aristocrat.
Cool video, I happen to play a Jareth deck. It's really fun! Some cards a Jareth-enthousiast might consider are: Entangler, so Jareth can block any number of creatures. Realm-Cloaked Giant for a little fun giant-theme. Pariah / Shield of the Pariah are also fun cards that lets you redirect damage to your life total to Jareth and give him protection from the color of the source of the damage. I also like Kemba, Kha Enduring because it handsJareth an equipment when it enters. Must play equipments are in my opinion: Sword of Vengeance and Tarrian's Soulcleaver. Vigilance is really important for Jareth like you said. Cheers
Fantastic cards to synergies with Jereth for sure!
I feel like a lot of newer players dunk on the legends cycle of this set (especially poor Rorix) without ever interacting with said legends. Visara with Thornbite staff is essentially a repeatable one-sided boardwipe. Jareth is an absolute monolith. Arcanis is hard-to-kill card draw Silvos is a beat stick that is still decently priced for green in 2024 and hard to kill. And Rorix Bladewing is still a +2/+1 up on Volcanic Dragon, which was also a rare back then and it didn’t die in red mirror matches back then because it wouldn’t die to Lighting Bolt nor Lightning Blast. True there are many better dragon commanders (yes bladewing dead [the risen] is a better commander than bladewing alive)but Rorix is still decent in the 99, and he was absolutely an issue in 60 card magic in his day.
Rorix is a bit bland, Silvos as well. Visara is cool! I mostly like Jareth and Arcanis tbh.
I absolutely agree, these commander's arr definitely considered THE CLASSICs! So cool!
That's fair, power creep is and evolved mechanics give a large diversity of unique or powerful commanders.
I love bioshock infinite
I've really enjoyed it so far!
Love the content, always happy for some unseen brews!
Thank you very much!
when the hexdrinker has pro everything, doen't that mean you yourself can't actually target it?
Yes, you are correct. I missed that detail, however if you have some pump shenanigans you can use them before that final level up to make it very beefy and then give if pro everything for a big hit.
haha lol i play thriss infect elves
Infect for the win!!
thank you.
Eesha is in my birds edh deck 🤘 he came in my first precon which happened to be judgement
Whaaaat!? That's very cool! Eesha is such a great commander!
Hexdrinker has protection from your Commander if fully leveled up. You can buff it as a 4/4 to 9/9, then 18/18. Once you pop that last level, you can't target.
I completely overlooked that thank you for catching that. My backup choice is Krosan Cloudscraper or impervious Greatwurm haha.
I have three different tresserhorn ideas running now 😂 The destroy at the end effects could do well with end the turn cards.
Absolutely crazy haha!
I've played this many times, but in a solder deck, with an enchantement which shares ils protection and lIght To all other créatures on my board.
That was my deck with him, too, for a long time!! Soldier Soup was so much fun.Odric and concerted effort we're golden cards in it.
I am just on the same page than you, and i bought a silver queen today to remind me the old good time ☺️
Woot woot sliver queen!!
My favorite Bird Boi getting some much needed love. 🔥
Amen! Such a fun commander!
That's curious, Kormus Bell only works on swamps so in commander very few people will play actual swamps unles there is a mono black deck, if you could play urborg i'd work but of course you can't play that land on a white commander deck, another problem I see this deck is that If I'm mono black and I see this commander I'd f*ck off to another table XDDD nice video though!
@spikesmaster that's the beauty of urborg and yavimaya. Since they don't contain any mana symbols in their rules text. You can play either in decks that originally couldn't have those land types.
I like slivers too. I started playing slivers around 10 years ago or so I think when we got the (not so populair) new slivers from the core sets. I started to collect slivers here and there. I also wanted to buy the sliver queen, buts is was back then like 50 or 60 euro. Back then it was to expensive for me. I had rent to pay and stuff like that Last week I bought finally one for 160 euro 😅
I totally get the need to budget for cards. They can get very pricey haha. But congrats on getting the queen. Definitely one of my al time favorites!
banding is also very good on defense. only 1 creature in the pile needs banding and you put all the dmg on 1 bird.
It's absolutely incredible!!!
What's your outro song?
I don't remember off the top of my head but it's something about sunny or beach day.
Daxter is my all-time favorite character in the Jak series, so when I heard he had his own game I was like "YES!!!!" I love this game, it's actually my personal favorite alongside Jak 2 and TPL. I got a PSP back in 2010, and my first PSP game was this one along with Crisis Core: FF VII and KH: Birth By Sleep, as well as Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines. The PSP was truly ahead of it's time, it was essentially a PS2 on the go with PS2-style graphic quality, and alongside games it could play music, and movies among other great stuff. I recently picked up a new PSP last year, and it's still amazing.
Too true!! The PSP is awesome! And I honestly can't decide my favorite character. Asides from the fisherman I TPL. he's fantastic. And voiced by Kevin Conroy!
The feature type being changed to octopus is the exact opposite of cool. It’s stupid.
You have traction control on (TCS), it will never handle properly or deliver power how you want.
Oh no!! Haha that explains so much!!
Sweet video! This combos really nicely with Painter’s Servant as well.
Right! It's such a cool budget commander!
Nice commander to build around in a craetive way. I've stopped watching your video because of the constant 'click' sound you do with your mouth, which was making me crazy. Other than that, great theme for the deck and for the video.
Glad you like the deck ideas! Also thanks for the heads up! I'm always looking to improve my videos.
Really wish there was some way to give a Conspiracy to an opponent and make their creatures Nightmares too, that would make them think twice about killing Chainer
That would be so cool. Maybe a blue black exchange, or type manipulation, deck with him as the secret commander would work.
So, weirdly, Homelands art has always been my personal favorite for art direction, and Autumn Willow is my favorite card in it. It’s just so effortlessly beautiful and… not-Magic, yet in Magic.
So true. Such an interesting and captivating set to look at.
Fuzzy background noise made me click off, algorithm suggested, hope you get it worked out
Thank you for the feedback I will definitely fix that.
Are you really that sensitive over some white noise?
@@SoloFalcon1138 yes, that's why I left the comment. If it were something people liked every channel would have white noise in their audio. If I were creating content I would appreciate honest criticism.
Please do one on Balthor the Defiled! Zombie tribal
Oooooh, that's very cool! I could see some sweet synergies in that.
@@lilmacgaming1 it’s my main deck! It is a very scary commander if you build around him correctly. Prioritise cards that self mill and use payoffs for having a large graveyard until Balthor himself comes out for a game winning turn once you hit 7 mana.
Some notable interactions: 1. Tombstone Stairwell + Vengeful Dead = pretty much game over in one turn cycle (it sees all the opponent’s zombies die each turn too). 2. Tombstone Stairwell + Ashnod’s Altar = exponential snowball of self-mill. 3. Liliana, Untouched By Death (-3 ability) + Shambling Ghast + any sac outlet = infinite etb/death triggers.
@braidsmeetsbalthor7517 that is absolutely cool! Thank you so much for sharing. I really like this!
wonderful art im running her with tragic poet "second chance" = infinite turns 😂
i think she wants a crazy control aura shell ❤
Very true for the art. And that is a wicked deck idea!!
This has been my main commander for so long, such a shame kastral kind of steals the design space right from under it and does kangee better ;/
The sad truth of an evolving game
Atogatog is way too low, should be B tier. The Atog synergy is honestly great with changeling and other typal exploits, since you can slam people in the face with fairly efficient commander damage.
As far as power level, I definitely agree for B tier.
@@lilmacgaming1 like, all the treasure exploits in 5c, then drop an Atog. Hard to miss.
wohoo Alexander Gregory art!
Super sweet!!
Bro, you need to Break a Bit more. Speed does Not Always mean Just Go flat out. And be carefull with the throttle. Let those tires gain traction. When they spin, Just ease Off a bit
Thank you that is a good insight. I've definitely been learning the hard way.
It's not good, but it's not bad for a pauper aggro edh deck
For sure! I love seeing these commanders get used like that.
This guy has been my favorite commander for the last year. It has 2 different ways to win, with one wincon relying on the graveyard while the other is a 2 card combo.
I like the versatility!
theres a storm edh with this general, wins with endless gy triggers. name is the portal storm or something
@oldbordergeek that's wicked cool!
@@lilmacgaming1 you can loop and kill everyone using Not Dead After All with Xiahou Dun if you have a Pitiless Plunderer out.
He (and also his sister jeska) are both pet cards for me as well. I have them in the original printings and they found a Home in my mono red karlach deck, and since she gives first strike the 1 toughness isn't much of a problem. It's nice to see that he still gets some love even after over 20 years since he first came out. :)
That's very cool! It's always sweet to seel these old cards get the love they deserve and or need.
If you're going to call it the plague deck you've got to get some Pestilence in their for flavour. Might help you stay alive with your slow commander too. People leave you alone if they're worried you'll spitefully kill everything just because you can.
Too true. That and pox affects are also flavourful.
@@lilmacgaming1 on that note, Pestilence Demon also exists and does the exact same thing as pestilence, but on a body.
A classic card indeed!
He work fine with Wonder in the gravedad.
Very true!
