The Stewpot strives to serve our Dallas neighbors by helping them break free from poverty and homelessness. Founded 50 years ago as a mission of First Presbyterian Church of Dallas to feed people on the streets downtown, The Stewpot has grown to provide comprehensive services and a community of support to people who are experiencing poverty and homelessness. Since 1975, The Stewpot has served more than 8 million meals and has provided housing, education, stabilization, and enrichment to Dallas neighbors in need of support.
