You've taken time to post/ create. Educational tutorials. Honestly, the simplicity of this one. may be all it took. Different from others, educational and straight to the point of playing, Something in The Orange.. This tutorial along with the fact of being able to slow UA-cam down. Is all one needs. 100s of Beginner tutorials out here. If someone can't physically make chord shapes. They cannot strum and play a song yett. So, they should stay with Beginner lessons. Your a step above and that's what's missing here on UA-cam.. Great job on the tutorial. I believe your trending in the right direction..

This is a great video and it does a good job of approximating Emily Sailers' chord voicings in standard tuning. If you're looking for exactly what Sailers plays, you'll need to tune to DADGBC with the capo on the fifth fret and the fingerings will look a bit different and sound a bit different than this video. To my ears the most significant difference between playing this song in standard vs DADGBC comes in the effect of having the first string tuned down to the C. I find the alternate tuning very fun and it feels a whole lot more like the original song. You got the Em right. The other three chords are wrong.

The first time I practiced with a drummer he.told me I was strumming in triplets and therefore couldn't play along. What type of music can be played using triplets?

WOW, so glad I found your site. Sitting here in my Extended Stay room, searching for a home of my own but I have my guitar. All that I own is in an over-priced storage unit including all my sheet music. Jimmy's music was the first music I learned to play and with it I learned to play guitar over 30 years ago.
