fyi, if you'd have taken out two more screws on the base, you could've removed the base and back without breaking off those plastic tabs😉

Hi, do you have any video or help on how to change or replace solenoid for steam wand + hot water spout? Currently if I try and use steam wand, only very little water trickles out, and all water and steam comes out via hot water spout.

How can I fix the failure of not moving between the settings in the rotating roller?

And what about if the situation reflect no steam coming out from anti vaccum valve, shall i replace it as well??

I have the same issue. I am sending to Breville. I did open and see that part that was replaced but could not find where to get it. Will update here if I get any info on what was replaced. They sent a prepaid box and return is also paid for. Will have to pay for repairs once they find the issue and quote me.

Would the machine still work correctly if I unplugged the flow meter. I know it would make shots Manuel but I am ok with that.

You should remove the base plate completely to avoid broken clips of the back plate.

In case this helps someone, once you get the back panel off, to fix an airlock, remove the line that goes from the water feed (where the tank goes), both ends. Open the hot water valve by turning the hot water/steam selector to the hot water position. Push water through the system until water comes out by inserting a syringe in to the system (where you just removed the water line). This will push the air through the system. Do the same for the steam valve. Put it all back together, fill the water tank and test. Worked for me and could not find any videos showing this.

my rubber insert for the portafilter came with a hole that the tablet goes over. Is the backflush really needed? if so, why would Breville send rubbers with a hole in it?
