i guess the 787 was the 767 replacemnet, but the 767-400 was and still is an amazing planes, one of my faves to fly in flight sim, and its just an amazing overall aircraft. I've never been a fan of those super old gauge cockpits, but i love the 767, so the 400 is a great plane for me

Outstanding trip report. I flew with EVA AIR to LAX in 2016, that's quite long ago... But I was wow by how much they have been better since then. The meals were good-quality back in that time, but it's even better now. IFE has also changed a lot in positive ways.

What kills Polaris for United is the extremely poor food and single tray service is not acceptable if you're actually paying for the ticket

A 787 10 not bad

I absolutely loved Iceland Air when I flew with them last year roundtrip from Frankfurt to Reyjkavik. The only real issue I had was at the airport, where the employees don't turn up at the check-in counter until an hour or so before the flight. The other passengers and I had to stand in line for nearly 2 hours just to check in, check bags, and get a boarding pass. There was no option to do this in advance online or using a kiosk, which I found ridiculous. Other than this, I thoroughly appreciated this airline and look forward to flying with them again.

You’re lucky to get a Hello Kitty livery B777-300ER. The captain must be very well-trained to be able to take off with such strong winds. Personally, congee is the food I dislike the most on all of my EVA AIR’s flights

Nice video keep it up man ❤, and there's one thing I would like to suggest is can you remove the music background it is a little bit annoying the engine sound is enough that way we can feel that we're in the moment!

My 25 year old son flies the 717 for Delta and has flown that route a few times.

Nobody ever mentions that the 767-400ER also has the same windows as the 777.

United has a couple of these planes flying out of Washington Dulles regularly. They are using the 767-400ER on their Washington to Honolulu route currently as well as from Washington to Accra, Ghana and sometimes Lagos, Nigeria

I love the 767 series and the -400er has always been a bit of a mystery. Thanks for the information.

I once flew on a Delta - Boeing 717 from Chicago to Detroit. Never knew they flew 717 on such a long route! Great Trip report.

I sit at 11A before when I flew on the maz 8, I didn't realize there was no window seat 😂

Because Boeing quit building the 717, Delta is replacing them with A-220's They are hardly the only airline doing that.

I don't know how many of this airframe Delta had to begin with but they got a LOT of them via the Northwest merger who had them and actual MD 80 series airframes in huge numbers. In 2017 I was flying into Mobile from ATL and they swapped in an actual MD airframe, the last time I ever flew one. in 2020 I flew from ATL to Dallas and back in a 717.

I fly on Delta’s 717s two or three times a month, usually in or out of ATL. The ventilation system is the noisiest I have even encountered in over 50 years of traveling, but noise-cancelling earbuds take care of it. For regional flights I vastly prefer the 717 to any of the CRJ variants or the EMB 135/145.
