When Germany made elegant tanks. During the 1980s, only the Swedish came 2nd to the quality (safety, performance, materials...) of Mercedes-Benz and BMW but they lacked the elegance and perforce of the Germans. And, yes, with Lexus about to make its debut in 1989, the '80s was the decade when the Germans and Japanese humiliation and destroyed the American luxury car the world over, for good. And now the Koreans are also at it. Chrysler, Lincoln, Oldsmobile, Mercury, and Cadillac can consider the 1970s their last decade of automotive relevance.
In hollowood many went up in flames. Sadly
Nice c126 BUT what the hell was this music? Really? Please use russian maffia or german underground songs next time :D
This car is so beautiful that I would have it without regret, very cool.
How much?
Beautiful! Frame off restoration or “pristine” from the beginning? Actual original Mileage? Award winner with gold badge on grill? Thanks for sharing.

The 72 was so clean in the back...no butt-ugly 5MPH bumpers and cluttered tail lights!
My Dad had a '50 in the mid 1950's when my older brother started driving. It had the rear windows that wrapped from the left B pillar to the right B pillar. He and 3 of his buddies were out racing around on the county roads in central Nebraska one afternoon. He lost control on the loose gravel and rolled it into an empty irrigation canal. Dad was so happy the roof held up with only the A and B pillars and no one got hurt. But he was disappointed my brother rolled his favorite car. I love the '50 and '51 Studebakers. When I started driving in the late '60's Dad hada '64 Commander Station wagon with 3 on the tree! I loved that car and have great memories in it! 🙂
What a stunning, breathtaking Studebaker. The design will hold up for ever.
Beautiful, the dash wouldn't be the most interesting but the chassis looks superb.
I love the 1999 Chevy suburban!!! 💛🤍💛
What a great looking car, I've never seen one, the colour is gorgeous, it looks like a side valve engine. It was well ahead of its time in 1934. You've done a great job keeping this car alive WELL DONE
Wow what a car, fantastic

absolutely beautiful! 12volt or 6 volt?
So many memories of my Dad driving his Cadillac and smoking his cigar or pipe. To the world he was nothing but another Black Man but to me he was Everything...RIP 💙💙💙💙
Holy crap that's the 465 dual carb super Wildcat. Nice.
Nice! Last good year before the interiors got real cheap looking.
Very Nice ! 😎👍
For anyone interested in early bugs (6 volt) and the history of the beetle from its inception to 1966, there is an excellent book which was first published 1966 when the bug was at its zenith. Dan R Post, Volkswagen Nine Lives Later. Lots of pre WW2 stuff and photos. Even a reprint of a Ferdinand Porsche 1930 dated sketch showing the basic design and layout of what became the beetle. It is out of print but Amazon have a couple for sale. I have never seen a book likeit. I bought my copy in 1977 and still have it.
My 1960 1100cc 36 hp beetle did not have the heater tubes shown on this model extending from the fan shroud to the metal work near the rear v belt pulley. This system of the cardboard heater tube did not appear til the next gen motor the 1200cc motor in 1962. I am not so sure this car is completely original configuration. The motor looks like a 1200cc motor which first appeared on the 1962 model. The fuel pump looks like the 1200 type not the 1100 type. Perhaps someone could enlighten me, I am a little confused.
Good eye. The correct engine for a 1960 Beetle would be a 36hp (the generator stand is the biggest tell) with the stale air heating and a manual choke. Whatever year this car's engine may be, it is a tidy transplant. Pity it isn't acknowledged in the for sale ad, though.
@@naurfang The VW 1100cc motor used up to and including the 1961 model is pretty much the same appearance as the 1930s 25 hp model. Though there are some minor differences, for instance in the Typ 82 Kubel and typ 166 Schwimmwagen had a different design air cleaner body, and in those days the ignition advance was mechanical, by the time of the 1960 model they were vacuum advance.
Nice looking Cadillac 🙏👌
