I like to fish! Both in real life, but also in video games. My channel will be focused on fishing, and teaching people how to fish in Mortal Online II and other video games. I will hopefully also be able to launch a segment for IRL Fishing in the future. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy, and can learn something new.

Is it bad to let go of left mouse button when i click right mouse button? Ive been catching fish doing it that way but im curious why you hold both. Also, is there a spreadsheet somewhere with depths, lines, baits, fish? i just learned there is a "hooker" title and i need it.. Hope you are doing well.
The dude just casually knows the fish coming up is a canna... Master at work... Thank's for the help !
What place is that?
This was recorded in one of the Toxai fishing huts. However, you can catch turtles and trinkets anywhere! The big thing with Turtles is getting deeper than 1200cm. Some folks say only 1000cm, but it has always been 1200cm for me. I hope you catch ALL the turtles and trinkets!
@@squirrelly711squirrellysfi5 Oh got it my friend, also i heard about guard fur its a nice bait, is it real?
What skills do I need for scales and stuff for butchering fish? Or best skills to have w fishing? To get the most out of it?
For scale lore you will need Leptoid(Laake and Skull Kua), Placoid(Sand and Silk Ray), Ganoid(Ventriosus), and Pansar(Kelp Dragon) Scales. Be sure to read the books all the way through for Ganoid and Pansar Scales as they are very expensive and can difficult to obtain, then craft daggers once you finish the books. For butchering you need Perciform(spelling?) and Telesteo(spelling?). Be aware the fish lores don't register correctly so these should be the only two you need. It's good to be Alverin for future fishing when they implement stamina depletion while fishing because Alverin's have a stamina regen bonus while standing still. Also good to have a pet with bags that can hold what you catch. You can also join my Discord for all things fishing! I hope this helps and that you catch all the things!
hey man can you help me on how to catch calxfish?
Hey there! I hope are having an excellent week so far! You can catch Calxfish in Meduli, and in Lakes South of the GK Area. To catch them, you will use a .2, 1, or 5 hook, Medium or Strong Line, Bait can be Silver Coin or Cristula. I think Crustacean Carapace will also work as a bait. Your depth will be between 1500-2300cm. I hope you catch all the Calxfish and other things!
Squirrelly are you ok buddy? I used to watch you like 18 months ago and I miss you bro
Hey beefcake! I apologize for the delayed response. I haven't been on my computer much over the last 10 months. Life has changed a lot for me. Work is a great kind of busy, and my partner and I are expecting a baby boy on 04.11.2024. I am unsure when I will be on MO2 or stream again, but hope it will be some time. Life is going to be even busier for me soon. I hope you have been incredible, and that life is treating you well. Much love my dude, and I will catch you on the flip side!
@@squirrelly711squirrellysfi5 Holy shit dude that news is incredible!!! Congratulations brother!
Is it 1200cm based on sea level or is it 1200 for a number that can be set below ui regardless of whether you're standing on a cliff or by the water?
MISS YOU HOMIE
best advice for someone looking to fish ganoid?
Does lootluck or RTGL impact the trinketfishing?
No, Lootluck and RTGL will not impact your trinket fishing. FarmerJoe has stated that it only impacts loot bags that are dropped by AI Mobs. It is possible that something has changed in the last six months, but I am assume it has not. There are certain bodies of water that won't have Twigs or other fish in the pool, so you only catch trinkets. I hope this helps and that you catch ALL the trinkets!
@@squirrelly711squirrellysfi5 ah I see, that is very disappointing imo. What so you think about krampus event and lootluck etc?
@@Lithorpg I agree it is disappointing; but it is also understandable. I personally love the Krampus Event, and other community events to keep people engaged in positive activities. I am not sure if lootluck, etc. work for these events because the bags are random spawns on the ground, and not dropped by an AI mob. I could be wrong on this, though.
blood kua reminds me of the salmon specialy the places where you find it.s
Ventriosus is also very similar to Salmon; they even look like them prior to spawning.
You sir are the man best guides on the tube for fishing ✌️
confusing Twelve hundred centermeters, it is 12 meters
Hahah! Hell yeah, brother! If you are more of a meter kind of guy, then you are correct. They are the same, so you do you my dude! I hope you are catching all the things.
@@squirrelly711squirrellysfi5 thank you. Just started fishing.. saw the game has depth only in CM
fast, informative, perfect. one love
Finally....I have found you!
What bait should i use for trinkets?
Blue Sorex is best. I have a quick 3-4 minute guide on how to fish for trinkets and turtles, too. I hope you catch all the things!
Hello! What books do I need to read and learn the skills to get the most out of carving fish and other marine life?
You will need to get Butchering Appliances, Scales Lore, Ganoid Scale Lore, Pansar Scale Lore, Reptile Lore, Turtle Lore(Synapsia I think is what it's called), Heavy Carapace Lore, Reptile Carapace Lore, and Fishing(If you plan to catch stuff on your own). There are also some minor books like Compact Horn and Keeled Scale Lore that you could get; but those aren't going to be the big money makers. Also, be aware you can only learn Placoid Scale Lore and Leptoid Scale Lore through action and there is no book for these. I hope this helps and that you catch and butcher all the things! Have a beautiful day!
@@squirrelly711squirrellysfi5 Thank you so much, you helped me a lot!
2:35 Quick question, how did you know it was a turtle that was on your line right away? Different animation for trinket / turtle caught?
You will learn the pull and fight cadence of different fish after you have fished for a while. Turtles will generally have a 2/3 to 3/4 pull and fight sequence; whereas trinkets will have a 1/10 to 1/8 pull and fight sequence. Twigs on the other hand, won't have a fight sequence at all. I hope you are catching all the things and having a beautiful day and week!
@@squirrelly711squirrellysfi5 I see, thanks ! Hope you are enjoying your week! :)
Hey, so it's only the night-morning time when u can get turtle ? )
You can catch turtles any time of day. The big thing is making sure you're using a 50 or 100 hook and deeper than 1200cm. Being at 95-99% of your max depth is also ideal, but turtles will enter the fish/loot pool around 1200cm. I hope you're catching all the turtles and things! Have a beautiful day!
love it love it !
Thank's you're the man!
hi, are topaz and ruber still fishable?
They sure are! You can catch Silver with Topaz or Ruber. Just be aware that it is VERY dependent on RNG, and may take dozens of hours of fishing to catch one. Happy fishing and may you catch ALL the trinkets and things!
@@squirrelly711squirrellysfi5 But silver rüber/topaz is Max or is there a Chance to get Higher ones?
@@barnabask.8873 As far as I know it caps with those. Maybe in the future it will be possible, but I personally find it to be very unlikely that top tier gear and trinkets will never be accessible through fishing.
Thank you for this guide.
Does the floor depth matter, for example I like to fish for trinkets right at the shore with very slightly above 50 depth. Am I shooting myself in the foot by not fishing in greater depths further from the shore or is that a good way to go about it too.
No, the depth won't impact the quality or quantity of the trinkets you catch. It's all about being in the right depth range; roughly 90-99% of your MAX depth. If you are targeting specifically trinkets, you are doing is perfectly. The shallower you are, the shorter the reel-in time will be. If you go on a dry spell for catching trinkets; try changing your depth by 5-10cm, or move down the shoreline a bit so you get into a new node. (Similar to when you are mining or collecting something) I hope you catch that Silver Ruber my dude!
Woot
Thank you for this, no one mentioned about pushing Z and i was stuck for ages until this video!!!
Great video. Thank you.
THANK YOU!!!!! I was getting so frustrated not being able to cast my line. "press z" NEVER would have figured that out without your help!
where is that location ?
I apologize for the very delayed response. This is at the South Bridge in Toxai.
Very nice guide! It is mostly easy to understand how to catch a fish, but this part with fighting not that clear ingame, so it is nice to see the explanation :)
Hahahhahaha this is literally my fav video on UA-cam . Amazing
Let's goooo! =D
