Hi, I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! I actually didn’t take a business course-instead, I hired a business coach when I was starting out, and that was immensely helpful for me. Over time, I’ve also worked with other mentors and coaches as I’ve grown, and I find that personalized support feels the most helpful for me. Best of luck in your decision and journey!!

This is so helpful - thank you! I'm deciding which program to go with and mbg is one of my top choices. Now that you've graduated, are there other certifications or programs you're pursuing that compliment the mbg health coach cert?
I'm glad you found it helpful! Since graduating, I’ve also completed a somatic breathwork certification and my YTT! While I don’t actively teach yoga, guiding breathwork has been a wonderful addition to my work with clients. It’s something I’m deeply passionate about and love offering both as part of coaching and as a standalone service! I haven’t felt the need to pursue any other certifications just yet-I’m really enjoying coaching and working 1:1 with my clients. Although I am a bit of a certification junkie so I’m sure another one will call to me when the timing feels right :) That said, you definitely don't need to pursue any other certifications to make an impact! The knowledge you gain from mbg is more than enough to begin building your confidence and career!

Do you have any tips on how were you able to shift careers into doing the entrepreneurial route instead of the companies they are able to suggest graduates to work for? I think I may have jitters diving in alone instead of with a company though owning a business is my dream.
Hi! I completely understand where you’re coming from-it can feel really daunting to dive into entrepreneurship, and I had the same fears / jitters! I also had a dream of running my own business. I realized that as challenging as it might be, it aligned more closely with my values and vision. A few things I focused on were: -Creating a strong mindset - one rooted in self-belief, resilience, and trust in the process. This was a game changer when navigating the inevitable ups and downs of entrepreneurship. Also riding the wave - knowing that there are challenging times, but around the corner is an expansive time. -Taking small, intentional actions every day that built momentum over time. These small steps-like building connections, refining my offerings, and showing up consistently-were key to creating a solid foundation. -Finding mentorship and community, which made such a difference in feeling supported along the way. Entrepreneurship can feel isolating, but connecting with others in similar positions helped me stay inspired. It’s natural to have jitters, but the fact that owning a business is your dream is a powerful motivator. Remember, it’s about progress, not perfection, and every small action you take brings you closer to your goals. Wishing you so much luck on your journey-trust yourself, you’ve got this!

Hi Patricia! I' glad that it was helpful for you. I did a little cohort style course that currently doesn't have any future cohorts (it looks like they've only run it 2 times in the last few years). I also hired my previous life coach to be my business mentor. I have since mentored / coached a few coaches starting their own businesses (which I'm happy to chat about if you would like). Mindbodygreen has recently added their own business course which is amazing! I wish I could speak on it, but they didn't have it at the time that I did my program. I would recommend starting there and then seeing if you need additional support. If you do, feel free to reach back out to me - I'm happy to help! I hope that this is helpful :)
