THE TRACK - Mundaring to Albany
Переглядів 22 тис.5 років тому
Mundaring to Albany - See the newly released video commemorating the opening of Western Australia's latest track as seen at the Perth 4WD show.
How can I get the details for the track?
Absolutely fantastic, Video editing was spot on. Never knew this track even existed. Well done.
What would be the best map app to use for apple devices ??
Those conditions look atrocious! What type of tyres are you running to get through that?
just remember take out what you take in,the aussie bush does not want your rubbish,i wish some people would wake up and realise how crappy it is to find an awesome camp area only to find some knuckle dragging parasite has left toilet paper, baby wipes and other rubbish behind
Which spot is Emma camping at in the video?
Great new look at 4x4 and camping...ripper of a spot Keep up the top work 👍😎
Hello people, was just wondering if anyone knows what app Emma uses to look at the waypoints on her device please, the one that also shows the rote on the map? I have an android hope she does too (looks like a Samsung, I think that's android...) :) - Peter V.
Hi Peter most people use the Oziexplorer App which will work on Android. Available at oziexplorer.com.au
@@WA4WDA - thanks for that, I've been looking on the web after talking to someone at WA4WDA but couldn't find the app. (my internet skills are pretty poor). Followed your link and got it. Thanks again - Peter V.
Pete, Yes that is correct about "off store" apps but I can tell you I have been using Oziexplorer for nearly 15 years and it has never caused a problem for me.
You can download the Hema App from the Google Play store, these files will work in that as well.
@@WA4WDA Hello, I find your mapping system and the use of a gps thing most confusing and extremely frustrating and nearly impossible to work out how to use. Not all of us have GPS or even know what those letters actually stand for... Some of us DON'T want to rely on phones and gps. I have a smart phone and a Neos tablet and tried both with Oziexplorer, Topo maps, Wikiloc and something else I can't remember... NONE of those worked (you suggested Hema but I'm not going to buy it until I know it works). The only one that did work was a free app call GPX Viewer that at least drew the track. It didn't load any information but actually showed where the track was. Are you going to put out a map please? If so, when? If not, why not?!! I HATE the fact we are relying on electronic gadgets more and more. Hope you can help, thanks - Peter Vince.
2:51 Mark looks like he just got the biggest fright of his life!
HAHA yes it does appear that way.
Bring it on! more to explore in WA...
Stay tuned there's more to come.
Looks amazing ! How do we get the GPS coordinates ?
