Wuzhen, formerly known as Wudun, is part of Tongxiang City, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the "Golden Triangle" of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, and in the hinterland of the Hangzhou-Jiaxing-Huzhou Plain. With a history of more than 7,000 years of civilization and a history of 1,300 years of town establishment, it is a typical ancient water town in the south of the Yangtze River in China. Venice-like small bridges and flowing water, white walls and black tiles, open-air performances, soy sauce workshops, dyeing workshops, and former residences of celebrities are a cross between tradition and modernity.
