Omg...THIS!! i have the same thing!!! My story was that I was making the baby room, getting it all set up etc, then i unexpectedly was told and had to be induced 4 weeks early from his due date. Long story short the room became baby storage, and we didnt get him from the hospital for a few weeks after he was born. When we got him i had no desire to do anything but love and take care of him. Im still in the newborn trenches...but i was curious, how old is your lil guy here? I know all babies are different...but im just curious how old your baby is here, when hes almost ready to go to his crib. Also how did you kniw he was ready? (I know my little guy isnt as hes still navigating just existing, but i was just curious!!) So awesome to see that other people are where you are.....because i started feeling guilty/pressure that his baby room is just like this- stroller in the corner, crib used as a holder for the clothes that are washed....clothes that.are too big yet on hangers, but for me, theyre on a rack, not even in the closet yet....i walk in and feel overwhelmed...like am i a bad mom because i lost all desire to 'nest' after they induced me...and only now a month later im feeling that desire to (here and there.....not all the time. Maybe when ive had 3 hrs of sleep instead of 2! 😂😂😭) i even use a changing table i got as storage shelving for all things newborn, that i need within arm length! Im like...when should i start using everything and get back to making his room into HIS room. 🤔 love relatable videos like this- and NOT the types where people make it look like everything is just so glamorous with babies. Thank you.

They are just children. Let them do just that. Don’t have them grow up too early. Enjoy their babiness. You can teach to clean after themselves tho.
