Furniture Makeover - Turned a plain pine desk into an adorable furniture piece using the Tutu Baby Hippo transfer by @assiedecortransfers. I painted flowers, butterflies and dragonflies for added details. A stencil and more rice paper were used as well. This was a fun piece to pull together.

Creating home decor by applying a Decoupage Paper to a canvas and blending with acrylic paint. A decoupage paper from Whimsykel was applied on top of Wise Owl Matte Varnish. After I blended in paint, I applied a top coat of the varnish. Quick diy project.

This curbside find went from boring to a Boho Southwestern home decor style. I used DIY clay based paint in lots of different colors. The drawers are textured to give them a linen look. Furniture Makeover for someone special. This old desk had many layers of latex paint. The heat gun did the trick. After priming and painting the desk, I applied the @ReDesignwithPrima Breast Cancer Awareness transfer.

Want to see the wood grain on your furniture, then applying a paint wash or color wash could be your answer. This is a simple 1 to 5 ratio for your furniture makeover. First, I used a mix of Fusion Mineral paint Algonquin and Victorian Lace (1/3 ratio). Secondly, I mixed the mix with water (1/5 ratio). Apply, wipe and repeat!
