    Would a Custer Channel Wing Airplane have a Gliding ratio good enough as not falling like a stone in case of an engine failure? 'Popular Mechanics' published an article about Global Warming from raising CO2 levels and other atmosphere dangers in 1964: 'The air around us and how it is changing'

    You didn't show the part where you actually locked the pass through in place. Also, where'd you get a rubber gasket? No one uses those.

    If your alarm keeps activating for no apparent reason and you're happy that trunk and hood switches are good, then when you turn off ignition and withdraw the key you then press the "night panel" button until "door alarm only" message is shown, leave car and lock in normal fashion with fob, you will have to repeat process everytime you lock car, the problem seems to be a cabin movement sensor problem which is located adjacent to rear view mirror.

    By the time these motors were being made General Motors had their grubby hands all over them, I'm surprised that they used Lucas equipment, in England they're known as the prince of darkness, useless kit, i would have thought AC Delco or Bosch would have been a better choice, cost cutting bean counters at it again, I've got a 1998 naturally aspirated 93 petrol, 36k on the clock from new, not a trailer queen, she's a working girl, is my alarm buggered? You're damned right it is, even after new batteries and capacitors. Ive disconnected it as hazards were always fladhing when locked.

    So much criticism in the comments. These people dont understand these aftermarket kits never will fit every car the same. Sometimes the car may be a little off and/or the brace could be off. You just need to do a bit of custom fabricating sometimes to make aftermarket modifications fit. Especially on an older car.

    It was heavy, but I'm pretty sure with newer composite materials and tweaking the structure a bit, the S/W ratio could be improved.

    This video should be shown at the Museum of the Great Lakes in Toledo. What they have does not tell the full story of an almost unknown but important part of World War 2 history. It is too bad one of these ships could not be saved. They were so unique and would have been a great addition to both the story of the Navy and the Lakes.

    Why not placing the propeller on leading edge? The Antonov Izdeliye-181 had the engine inside fuselage, propellers moved by shafts, on leading edge, it made some tethered flights, they say. Perhaps a Counter-propeller, as in 1927 patent DE394245, by Wagner, would help, by changing the swirl air flow from propeller into something more straight and 'laminar', better for lift and drag. NASA RM L53A09, April 1953, by Jerome Pasamanick, describes the Langley wind tunnel tests of a full scale CCW machine, with electric engines. Gesund +'

      I think having the propeller in the pusher configuration allows it to create a lower pressure area in the channel.

  • @terrylm235
    @terrylm235 Рік тому

    I think it has potential, for development, as a VTOL aircraft. It needs a smaller, stabilising channel wing on the tail, too, to give it level flight, while hovering, descending, and ascending.

    Funny, I came across this on a Google search for a helicoil kit for effectively the same banjo on a Saab 9-5 2002 and had to laugh because of how close Google came to matching the video of what I'm doing perfectly... And noticed while watching it... Umm... It looks like you have bigger problems than those threads judging by how cracked that case looks right above the banjo fitting.... Just thought I'd mention something, I know the video's about a year old...
