Fantastic. I've spent the last 4 hours watching every video I could find relating to you, completely unexpectedly. The Republic of Loose was both the soundtrack to a period in my life and an inspiration toba small, hard working band in the West of Ireland, trying to " make it", whatever the fuck that means. I've seen you rise, fall, struggle back up, and drop to your bloody knees over the last 4 hours, only to end my evening with clips of you and your band in Whelans and, of course, your interview in the Tommy Tiernan show. I actually met you once. I was playing keys in a band called Crosstown Blues and we had a residency in that bloody venue in Temple Bar thats closed now. Can't even remember the name of it. Your man from fun lovin criminals was there the same night. Huey. Anyway, I gave up the game 10 years ago. Addiction, Divorce. Rock bottom stuff. Then a few years ago, I started playing slide, got my shit together and now youve got me thinking, You know what, Im going to do this, but on my terms this time. And this time I'm going to be present. You're a Brave and wonderful man Mr. Pyro. Paul Kirwan.
