Jinpachi is inarguably the toughest Tekken Boss. I hated the character a lot as kid.

I think the reason some tracks hit hard for you and others dont is because every track is carefully curated for its character. Their quite literally one to one with their character. Some characters are canonically at their best, making their themes less hardcore, while other characters are really deep into suffering, which is why they have so much grunge and anger in their osts.

All 6Ps are equal, but some are more equal than others.

For most characters your safest option when Potemkin uses the force field super is to just block it and hold whatever mix Potemkin throws out, but I-Nos Stroke the Big Tree actually low profiles under it. Only her, Sol and A.B.A have moves that can go underneath it. Just be cautious because I'm pretty sure Stroke can be grabbed if anticipated, meaning he can buster you lol

You really should learn the gatling system, it's very straightforward and easy to apply, it will help you very much cause you were getting counter hit but didn't have anything to capitalize on those hits. Also learn 1 or 2 combo that end with knocking the opponent down to get OKI

I-no is just like that. In one of the previous games Faust has a super where he gives his opponent an implied prostate exam. We get a reaction face and every one has a reaction of pure agony or "i don't like this". Except I-no. She insisted has an O face. She was always like this. Its baked in the character.

Hi, I know this means nothing to you, but a Johnny (Johnny is so cool but he fucking blows) main and Slayer mais here First, I can see that all of the I-NO mains are salty that your day ones isn't up to theres, so uhh. Can ya'll shut up? Second, I don't know if you know this but there are community made combo trials that you can access which can teach you the game further, that being combos, romab cancels, setplay, etc. Third, Again, your first time, but to have the green sheild (The thing you activate to not take chip damage) Is by blocking and holding P and S while blocking, the thing is that it will take your tension bar (Your meter) so most pro players don't just sit there and hold it the whole time they're blocking Fourth, For your first time playing, I think someone like I-NO and Millia (Characters that you were intrested in) Are a bit too complex for a starter character. Because as you've read they're chracters that do low damage but great mix up game. I'd personaly recomand the poster boy SOL BADGUY, Giovanna, or the new charcter Slayer. SOL and Slayer because they have really easy conversions, and Giovanna because you can just mash your face on the buttons and it'll work Fivth, As you've learned, the universal grabs kinda blow, They're usually used as a wakeup option or an option after doing a Roman cancel. But it's fine, you don't have to worry about that right now Sixth, Speaking of grabs. DUST, it's the Orange thing that show's up around a chracter, never get fooled by the animation because every dust is an overhead. Just like how every character has a universal anti-air, they also have a universal overhead. Seventh, And for the big one, Roman cancel. To do a roman cancel, you gotta press S,P, and H all at the same time, at it can Cancel any move you throw out at any time to extend a combo. IDK if you're using a controller but you can Macro it, and I choce for it to be R3. Roman canceling is the big stupid Mecahnic of every GG game. And it's complicated, less complicated in this game but complicated. Eighth, Okay last one, Burst. that one is by pressing all 4 buttons at once, it being a get off me tool, or you can just press (For me since I use a Playstaiton controller) R1 and X. BUT! This is a new system mechanic that they put into strive. If you do 236 (Quarter circle back) Dust it's another defensive option, using half of the Burst meter it'll push you're opponet away like it's a counter setting you back into netural. And there's an offensive option, by doing 214 (Qurtar circle forward) Dust you dash foreard and do an attack, if your opponet blocks it, you're dumb plus and it's still your turn. That's the end of Masoner's tips and Tricks guide. Hopefully you see this and know more about Strive and hopefully others know more about the game that they're trying to get into the game too.
