I fight over every slice of cake 😋 then again if I don't slice it one cake is one portion. A balanced diet is a cake in each hand. I am a cakeologist 😂 cake is worth fighting for imo .

Really want to start this buying and selling. What would your advice be on how to start doing this please ?

@@mh1517 best way to start mate is just test the waters and sell stuff around the house and check prices of items, I started with 0 and then did that

@ETSON_Resells I sell there myself on a Wednesday weather permitting. I was hoping to sell on Sunday, but the forecast looks crappie. I had a fantastic idea to bid on an auction online, and omg, I have nearly dropped Cork leg dead this morning when a van pulled up and just kept bringing boxes after boxes to my door haha, my house is upside down but I have done good so hopefully like your Beth says " I be glad when it's gone" because I can not believe the amount of items that have turned up x

@ETSON_Resells I wouldn't even know where to start, haha. I know I've got every macbook case known to man, lol. And tools I've got coming out of my ears. I've even got holy bibles from 1904. @@edinburghandbeyond that’s only the newer ones, the ones I’ve picked up recently are fine. Normally it’s the Sky Q boxes they are funny with and eBay don’t let you list them.

@@ETSON_Resells Cheers. Imagine it like you was a shop that just had a delivery of goods. You would make sure it's all there and accounted for. How much it cost and work out the percentage. Not so much the selling price. Make sure you are getting a good percentage to make it worthwhile doing. look at restaurants for example they work on very high percentages for a sandwich. One sandwich sold most probably pays for over ten sandwich ingredients. Buy stuff you know won't stay unsold for long periods too . Like the shoes for example. People go to a shoe shop or online if they want shoes they don't really tend to buy that kind of item second hand. Like would you buy used pants ? no . Unless you're a pervert or something haha 🤣 Basically if the thing you buy isn't going to hit your percentage target don't buy it. Unless you are completely certain you can sell it fast .

If you need anymore advice I'd gladly give it. I ran car boot and Market stool and Butchers shops for years before I had an accident . Now I'm taking it easy making Artwork for sale.

Plus it's always a good idea to buy stuff you would like yourself ! That's a good indication. Buying because you think someone else will like it always fails.

Yes mate, in test all the electricals to make sure they are not faulty before sending them out. if not you would end up with returns and losing money

@@ETSON_Resells I can get boxed, new for £4. Not a big brand but work really well. Your customers must be pretty dumb. I have established customers I won't rip off. eBay is shite. Haven't sold on there for years. Only end up subsidising Royal Mail with lousy overall margins.

@@ETSON_Resells half 8 mate, but id say get there for 8 tbh, as there is usually a big que by half past and if your at the back of the que takes 2 or 3 mins get in, some resellers run around and get the stuff first!
