I was just cutting out the leather for a pattern for a small credit card case. I made the mistake of not joining two parts of the paper pattern before putting it on the leather. I ended up cutting them out separately in the leather. That was a waste. I thought maybe I could sew them together, but it would look weird.
Mistake do happen. Have you tried stitching them up together using a piece of leather
Ok, seriously, I have a real question. Do you use illustrator to make these patterns? And if so, for the stitching holes, do you set it to exact, or let it space it out?

I use barge glue on my leather pieces. I am thinking about making a project that requires adding some material to the back of one of the leather pieces. What kind of glue do you use to attach the material to the back of your leather. Is it contact cement or something else? Thanks
