it has to be a very special book for me to dislike the main characters and still love reading about them! ~ first time i've heard that criticism of the Shadow of the Wind, hm i'm less keen to read it now.

Hola, Mariana! Yo en 2021 entre otros libros e leído 2 qué tienen relación con México! Son los sigentes " Los piratas del golfo" de Visente Riva Palacio ( escucho en audio) Y mí gusto! Y segundo libro es de Silvia Moreno García " Gótica mexicana". Segundo libro es de terror, no me gusta terror pero este libro en concreto sí sobre todo la primera parte que habla mucho del México! Por ejemplo yo e descubierto qué existe una cosa como Rebozo ( quero para mi uno! 😄 ) También quero ir comer taco ( verdadero, del México 😄) y ver película con Pedro Infante! 😘🌷

Hola Mariana , que gusto verte de nuevo . La sombra del viento no fue para mí. Si lo termine, pero definitivamente no seguiré con la saga. Intente con otro libro del mismo autor y y tampoco me encantó, entonces creo que el autor simplemente no es para mí . Tienes mucha razón con lo que refieres sobre los personajes femeninos sentì que las sexualisaba demasiado. Me anoto el libro de romance en el TBR interminable.

Pues a ver si te atrapa el libro. A mí se me hizo más su fama que lo que es. No voy a leer los siguientes.

a mi tampoco me gustaba La Sombra del Viento. Era bastante aburrido y en mi opinion el final tampoco era satisfactorio.

Interesting that hearing it was compared to Black mirror was one of the reasons why it stopped being surprising for you! Booktube is one of the ways I get a lot of my book recommendations as well. Sometimes I do think synopses can have spoilers as well and that is very disappointing. Yes, sometimes the introductions to classics really do spoil a book! It's good that you can forget the spoilers that people tell you more often than not. A very good talent to have! I never forget for some reason and I wish I could. I always try to avoid saying spoilers as well but it can get hard when talking about the later books in series sometimes. I am always unsure about my content warnings as well because I don't have any myself. Love the discussion about ben and jerrys and the discount purchase :P Love That's so poe's channel as well!
