Dipper & Mabel may not be able to return to Gravity Falls when they still live with their parents, but once they are old enough to move out they can return there (which is something the parents clearly did not consider).
So im yet to watch it fully, but i hope the father will realize that the man his kids are with is Stanley and not Stanford.
Its a small insignificant thing, but weirdly i want that detail
Now I watched it, and I realize that The kid was to young properly remember them so he wouldn't tell them apart, even with 6 fingers and especially with Stanley faking his death
