You can also try Shooting The Rapid in Pagsanjan falls or Hidden Valley or Cloud 9 while you're Manila NCR
Thank you for the tip!
Nice place, hope togo back there soon.
Archdiocese of Jaro covers the whole province of Iloilo. It is also the metropolitan of the following dioceses: Bacolod, Kabankalan and San Carlos all in Negros Occidental and San Jose de Antique for the whole province of Antique.
Thanks for the info.
Thank you for blogging Jaro and other towns.
Our pleasure!
The fenced up area 34:17 is where the ugly gym used to be. The people didn't like it, everybody wanted it out and wanted a fountain instead, so the city government demolished the gym and a fountain will be constructed, with an amphitheatre to complement it.
Thank you for the info.
It's not just a church, it's a Cathedral, it's the Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral, and is the National Shrine to Nuestra Senora de la Candelaria de Jaro. (Our Lady of the Candles). People cone here to buy blessed candles to light up especially in times of impending calamities, to pray for our Lady's intercession to her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to protect them from earthquakes, impending storms, fire, accidents, to keep them safe under her blue mantle of protection. This she has proven to help them since the Spanish era, the Japanese bombs. They ask to be given children, and she grants them. Passage in exams, peace in the house, a new job, better salary To thank God through her for helping them in many ways. Her feast day is February 2nd, the day when households cook special dishes for visitors who come from far and near to visit and hear Holy Mass. This is also the day when family members return far places, here and abroad to rekindle family ties, renew friendship, and yodate themselves on the latest developments in Jaro and Iloilo City.
A well organized city. Best urban planning 👍👍💪
It really is.
❤❤❤❤❤Nice iloilo very clean😮😮😮
😮😮😮
In December, you can come back to ILOILO where so many buildings and compounds are lighted up spectacularly.
We were in Iloilo Dec. 2018 and the lights were indeed spectacular.
You can ask to visit the second floor just for a few 5, minutes. and tell them you are a blogger and you will advertise the place. I think they will allow.
Thanks for the tip!
How about Jaro Plaza with the newly restored Jaro Belfry and the Jaro Cathedral. All are beautifully lighted up at night, just like the Molo Plaza, Molo Church, and Molo Mansion. You can also visit at daytime and at nighttine the Cafe Agatona1927 Museum and Restaurant just across Jaro Plaza.
That will be our next video, Jaro Plaza/Cathedral.
Primative city, about 40 years behind Cebu City, Mandaue City and Lapu Lapu City lmao
That's the beauty of progress, I'm glad every major islands in the Philippines are getting recognized around the world.
Are you staying at One Spatial? I believe it is actually located in the Mandurriao district, not Molo district, based on what you mentioned. If I’m not mistaken, the river serves as the boundary between both districts. By the way, nice video!
Thanks for the info! We thought it's Molo as we always walk towards the Molo Plaza.
@@FrankandRhoge No problem! Some people actually also get confused by that since the area is closer to Molo Plaza rather than to Mandurriao Plaza lol
Nice driving ....
Yes, thanks
I Love Roxas City❤❤❤❤
Don't put of anymore.
Thanks!
Visiting, nine towns outside Iloilo City, Philippines.
Beautiful place
Yes it is!
I hope also to visit that place
That to town is the beacon of freedom in iloilo City/Panay cry for independence from Spain, USA and Japan. My late Mom's town. There used to have a Leprosarium there.
Thank you for your insight, definitely learned something new each time.
Wonderful...showcasing the municipal plazas! I love taking time to see the unique features of Plazas as I tour the Panay region... I traveled through Negros, Cebu, Iloilo....I use plazas as my rest stop as I travel to my destinations in the Philippines. Safe Travels & I look forward to exploring the Philippines through your lens!
I love plazas in the Philippines, all very unique like the people and places they represent and reflect. Salamat!
@13:45 I erroneously stated Janiuay means January in the local dialect. This was incorrect. The name derives from two words combined, Jan and Iuay, legend has it two sons from a local Datu.
Malinis ang Iloilo City kahit walang metro aide na nagkilinis. Sana ganito rin mga tao sa Metro Manila😊
Oo malinis talaga sa Iloilo, meron din silang mga street sweepers.
It's the old capitol
That’s good to know, thanks!
need yo put up more cafes, restaurants n other food establishments along the road of the Esplanade to attract more people to visit the Esplanade.....
I agree, maybe a pop-up event during the weekends.
Wow nice place watching support from Awesome Robie
Salamat po!
Ganda Nang city....❤❤❤
Take note ILOILO CITY GOVERNMENT - the blogger zeroed in on the garbage and plastic bottles along the Iloilo River, to his immense consternation. Personally, I have also discovered more of those garbage, cats, dogs and fecal matter along the entire stretch of the Esplanade during my tour. The former Mayor of Iloilo, Jed Patrick Mabilog used to conduct regular clean-up drives to pick up all that trash along the Iloilo River in order to promote Iloilo City as a green and clean city. Mayor Mabilog's recent visit to Iloilo City could be an auspicious occasion for him to check how his original brainchild has become, after all these years. But despite all that, the blogger has successfully showcased the splendor of the Esplanade. Let us keep it immaculate at all times. Pride of place is important for us Ilonggos.
Iloilo has always been one of our favorite places to visit and is considered one of Asia's cleanest cities. Seeing some trash along the esplanade was unexpected, although it's understandable given the recent rain, which might have washed up the trash in the river. My wife, being an Ilongga, takes great pride in Iloilo.
❤❤❤❤❤Very fine weather there😮😮😮❤❤❤
❤❤❤Woooowwwww
😂😂😂😂Why is that very late in the morning youve just vlogging??? Its very hot rigjt now actually😅😅😅😅 yeah youve mention hot sun... The best time is 6 am or 4 pm like that😊
:) enjoying every moment since we are on vacation, even though it’s mainit.
Nice view
Those are royal palm trees.
Thanks :), have to work on my tree identification.
There's another cluster of banyan/balete trees inside the compound of the Ker and Company building (1900s) at the back lit. These cluster of trees have been cleaned and under the trees some benches have been installed fir visitors to experience sitting under these massive trees.
Thank you for the information, they're just amazing.
On the far right side of the video (18:48 and 19:57) is the monument and statue honoring Sir Nicholas Loney, the acknowledged Father of the Sugar Industry in Iloilo and the Philippines. Sir Nicholas Loney was a British resident of Iloilo who engaged in the sugar industry in ILOILO by providing loans to local producers, providing for their machinery imported from Europe. Because there was a sizable 42 documented British families living in Iloilo, he was appointed Vice Consul. He also invited his nephew, Mr.Hopkyn, to migrate to Iloilo and engage in business, whereupon he opened the Hoskyn's Department Store, the first fixed-price store in the Philippines and acknowledged as the first department store in the Philippines. The building housing tge department store at the Calle Real (JM Basa Street) is still existing. Also in his honor, this tiverside street is named after him - Muelle Loney Street. "Muelle" is a Spanish word which means "Wharf".
Beautiful Iloilo City.
It really is!
❤Very modern iloilo i love to visit this place from London❤

Thank you!
Welcome to Iloilo. How long will you be staying? You can check northern Iloilo. Lots of scenic towns in that area.
Thanks for the tips!
Malinis ang river ng Iloilo kay sa Pasig 😂
Yes it is.
Parang palaisdaan. Tsaka ang daming spaghetti wires
Ibig mo sabihin Bacolod, maraming spaghetti wires. You mean Bacolod, it has plenty of thick spaghetti wires in the streets. It's only you who says palaisdaan, all the foreigners and western bloggers are in praise of ILOILO's Esplanades and river and the city's overall cleanliness. You must be from bacolod, because people from that place have the tendency to envy Iloilo by commenting the opposite of what ILOILO is, which is clean, beautiful, orderly, progressive and heavy with well preserved heritage buildings, plentiful well maintained parks and Riverside Esplanades, and plazas and flower gardens, wide choice of restaurants and native eateries, especially friendly and hospitable locals. You are welcome to ILOILO, #Sotanghon80 , my friend.
Nang suya naman ang Buki kag manol....
The Esplanade adds to the already beautiful Iloilo.
My fav siopao brand, ROBERTO'S😋😜 Hope u like it too guys🙏💪👍
It was so good.
Yumm
I miss eating in a turo-turo.
yes, I love that you can eat a whole meal for less than $1.
Chaotic old area of Iloilo city.
Yes it is, still charming though.. hoping they will restore some of the old buildings and improve traffic management.
Nice Content, travelling from Maine to Boston, City of Champions(i guess) and to the City of Love(Iloilo City) hehe and you captured the famous Ungka Flyover aka Useless Flyover Hahaha.
Salamat :)
