I was once told to stay at least 3 meters away from the fence but that's it. Oh and also they will tell you to not film the EL AL airplane almost every time, but they won't do anything more than just telling you, you can continue spotting after the plane departs.

@@planeoldguy8441 Well there are 4 spotting locations I use: 1- it is only accessible by car. 2- it's on the terrace where the metro station is. 3- it's on a boulevard on the north side of the runway and it's accessible by public transport 42.704331,23.394903 here are the coordinates. 4- the best spot in my opinion, see where iskar river goes under the airport ( on the south side) and just walk to it through the airport park, there are stairs to get to the park just behind the metro station entrance. Here are the coordinates 42.692669,23.425377 . If you have any more questions, be sure to ask.

@@planeoldguy8441 Well except the fact that there are not many airplanes it's pretty cool. And the security is pretty cool from what I've experienced, I've even chatted with them a couple of times as well, while waiting for the EL Al to depart . But I mean it's not like Amsterdam or London, where there are special places for spotting and where spotting is pretty popular.
