So you're judging people who are trying to follow extremely difficult church teachings? There's a reason the church is in decline. Personally, I believe all loving relationships are honored by God, straight or not. And if you don't buy into that, you should be praising celibate lgbtq people for their discipline. Also Eden Invitation is great, and one of the few organizations keeping me even remotely involved in the Catholic church

Andrew, thank you for shedding light on the deception and danger of Revoice/Side B Gay Christianity, I’ve learned that embracing a “sexual orientation” paradigm and “celibate gay Christian” identity is unhelpful and limiting, like being encased in concrete with no ability to grow, and like trying to mix oil and water (the “gay” aspect surpassing allegiance to Jesus). I Had to learn to put off the gay aspect, as the Bible says in Eph. 4:22-24, to “put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.” Proponents of Revoice/Side B Gay Christianity are misleading unsuspecting ones into an anemic space of not understanding and addressing the underlying factors contributing to their sexual brokenness and disorder, including personal pain, wounds, unmet developmental needs, sin patterns, addictions, and emotional immaturity. They are not preaching the full Gospel of Jesus Christ: repentance, justification, healing, sanctification and transformation. They elevate a "gay identity" as a special sensibility for the church and something too precious to alter, and are offering vulnerable ones little or no hope for sanctification/transformation at their core, in their sexuality. Vulnerable ones are being influenced to remain in a static place of non-growth and limited relational capacity. Thank you for communicating truth and the transformative power of the Gospel!

Years ago two people told me that I would have many people attracted to me and that has proven true I am too sexy for my shirt it hurts… lol remember that old song 🎵. I’m just in control by the power of the Holy Ghost now to use that same ability over food 🍱! God has decided what sin is! The letter that he wrote back to the husband clearly showed that he was trying to cover it up and made veiled threats! The women should’ve gone to the police whenever this happened but abusers always threaten their victims!

This was so awesome, insightful, and so clear about every human struggle and especially the HOW to be real and seek the healer of our broken and wounded hearts!! A BIG encouragement for this struggler, needed to hear, thanks to you three and to the Lord!!

Important points that I personally resonate with, were made in the latter half of this video: • I had built up “scaffolding as defense mechanisms and identity”, having lived homosexually, gender confused, and gay identified earlier in life, and knew in my heart of hearts that “something was amiss in me.” I had taken on walls and adopted a persona that wasn’t real. • I agree that it’s very difficult for a person to put aside the scaffolding because of the fear “is there anything of me going to be left if that’s gone?” Contemplating change can be scary, and my experience and sense of self as a man was underdeveloped and malnourished. I agree that “we do make peace with the things that afflict us and we’re hesitant to receive what can free us.” Thankfully, God worked in me a “holy discontent” that He had more for me, in relationship with Him and others, than what I was settling for. Living Waters was the catalyst that started major change in my life. • Andrew, I agree with you that change requires encounter with Jesus. This awakens the eyes of our heart to His loving, gentle and merciful character, and, thus, there is “a shift - body, soul, and spirit -- that frees us to say, ‘I actually am in great need.’” My homosexual identification was a defense against reality and having my real needs met. • I agree that turning toward Jesus involves turning toward members of His Body in community, and we cannot have one without the other, to experience “this sexual/moral shift and shift in identification”. We know Jesus through His body, the church. Warts and all, I experienced the love, kindness and acceptance of my pastor, therapist, and followers of Jesus in Living Waters and elsewhere. Over time I was able to lower my guard with trustworthy people and become more open, transparent and joyful.
