Always loved this show. Sadly it seemed to just disappear off the face of the earth never to be seen again.

The second version is better all round, but I still like this one, because you can hear the accordion/concertina at the start and it fits with the seaside feel.

The tone of this show was legitimately frightening to me back in the day. I'm enjoying watching these now. The creepiest thing was the fact that the spooks had a baby. Did that mean a baby died, or did they somehow mate? Are spooks supposed to be ghosts of people, or just their own sorts of beings, like sprites or pixies?

I cannot explain the ache in my heart that this entire series isn't out on DVD yet... this was my childhood. And so much credit to the composers - the songs in this show outshined so many others of the time.

When i was about 10 i watched this with my cousin and he would cry when i put this on,he said the characters creeped him out..i found it kinda funny..

This was originally shown on Friday 6th October 1995 as the promo at the end promoted the programmes which were broadcast the following week from Monday 9th to Friday 13th October 1995.

Does anyone at all have any more episodes of this ?? I must see the one with the ghost train/ bumper car episode before a die as it would make my life most complete .. as I vaugley rember it .. but non of my family agree with me .. am I wrong?
