I remember checking out from the library years ago.

These clips are when the Oscars were really fun to watch. Real “Movie Stars”. And I get what some of the actors say about it being unfair to this or that. But let’s face it, that can be said about anything. I mean no set of awards are EVER going to be 100% fair, if there are 5000 to pick from, they’ll invariably pick the 6 choices that tons of people are going to hate the choices. The same can be said for music, or any kind of awards, and especially when the “academy” is a basic political game not too unlike the political game we watch in other systems. But laying all that aside….I still like to watch the pre show, and the opening jokes, then the ending to find out who won the big awards. And of course all of it to make fun of how hideous some of the people look. All that money and they still can’t dress better still blows my mind. Cheers
