It’s early in the morning and I have found this video right now… 😃😃😃 For me this is the best band line-up ever… Carlos Vega, Jimmy Johnson, Michael Landau, Don Grolnik… just Arnold McCuller is missing, and so nearly 99% exactly of the setup of the 1993 live album… ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! 😎 Oh how I wish to have the 1993 „J.T. Live“ CD as a DVD, but until now this video is the only recording of that time I’ve ever found. 🥹 Thanks sooo much for the video!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🙋🏽‍♂️

I never knew that Jake the Rake was such a creative musician playing several instruments, being a sound engineer etc. etc. I love his sound on the albums and his tastefull playing. I bet he’s a really great human being also and, as a drummer, I like to learn a lot of him recording wise. Thanks for your contribution to music mister Jay Graydon 🙏🏼

Back in those days I had no clue that Jay Graydon was SUCH an important part of the music I loved. I do now!!

I was a roadie for the Don Ellis Orchestra in 1972... Hoped to take JAY'S guitar spot when he left but wasn't quite there and chickened out... Jay told me a story about his "Music," class in junior college where students were required to perform at the end of the year... Most people did some mundane bad pop shit. Jay and his guitar friend did a way up tempo rendition of STRAIGHT NO CHASER!! Blew everyone away.....

Whoever booked the musical guests for this show deserved more than whatever the writers made. The music was always the high point. While the sketches were always painfully unfunny.
