Переглядів 3558 місяців тому
Installed this 2.5 ton AC unit with approximately 46 feet of lineset. Using the M18 to Makita battery adapter I bought on Amazon. Worked great.
NAVAC NTB7L TUBING BENDER REVIEW - w / LINESET INSTALL on RUNTRU 2T HEATPUMP.
Переглядів 2,2 тис.Рік тому
Tried out the NAVAC NTB7L cordless tubing bender on a recent install. Worked out good and I can see using it on larger jobs. Picked it up at Johnstone. I have the NAVAC flare tool which uses the same battery. Overall I liked it.

Picked up this Ingenii Gen 2 box from my local Johnstone and thought I would try it out. I like the space it provides and can see using it again. Just Google Ingenii Holdings.

Installed one mutli zone and one single zone mini split heat pumps. They are of the Blueridge brand which I have installed at least a dozen or more. Great quality at a great price. Hope you enjoy and learn a few things. Thanks for watching.
Milwaukee M18 Vacuum Pump Review.
Переглядів 8 тис.Рік тому
Just got the new M18 vacuum pump. Installed a 4 ton RunTru heat pump today and thought I would try it out. Normally I use a Navac cordless pump but all of my tools are Milwaukee. Worked great.
I saw the benefit when you one handed the bend while holding the roll. Ratchet benders like Hilmor would require both your hands.
There are 3 Phillips head screws at the top of the panel then I believe the panel sits on 2 supporting " lugs" . Lift up on the panel and pull straight out.
How to remove the bottom panel? Your video only shows it off at the start and then it's on when your all done. I see the two bolts on each side. I pull up and bottom is detached, but can't get the top to come off.
How was it to finish up? We are looking for a similar solution that allows for easy access to the flare fittings.
It was simple and clean. The box cover itself is held by a few plastic tabs that are needed a small reciprocal saw to cut out. A box knife didn't do as well as I hoped. But it left a LOT of room for flare fittings and pushing lineset back. Plus condensate line went in real smooth also.
@@chrisb1899 thank you for the feedback!
My igniter just went out for the 2nd time in the 4 years of having my 48” NXR entree oven. 😢
This video was actually my 2nd time changing it. Thankfully it's cheap and easy for the most part.
Condensation line needs to be PVC pipe or can I use drain line the come with it
The indoor unit comes with a drain line that I push down into the larger PVC I installed.
Rough in box need to be install by Code ?
Will done great job
Thanks. It was a fun one !
How did you remove the panel on the bottom
There are 3 screws holding the panel in . I believe the panel also sat on a small " lip" to hold it up while you remove the screws.
Hi nice info. I have a 32 in Nxr and the stove is horrible. It would keep clicking on every burner. Any info on how to fix this ?
The clicking sounds usually indicates the burner flame isn't being sensed so it will click or spark until a flame is reached. With a small SOS pad or sand paper , you can clean those flame sensors. They are under each burner cap.
Yes, the gas valve opens for a small amount of time but doesn't ignite.
When the igniter went out, did the oven just smell like gas and not get hot? When on?
Mine smelled like gas, and would get hot but not at the temperature I set it at. I believe mine is the igniter.
That’s crazy. Usually I can do a single hose 3/4 BluVac 5 meter long hose and have it down in 3-5 minutes on a new system max
Thank You for the video….. it worked for me! I used part number x00389ar6x ERP IG9998 Universal gas range SMD from Amazon
Awesome brother thanks for sharing 🤟 💯 🌎
Hi, can you share the link of amazon for the M18 adapter. Thanks.
Battery Adapter for Makita 18V Lithium-Ion Cordless Tools, Convert for Milwaukee M18 18V or Dewalt 18V 20V Lithium Battery to Makita 18-volt BL1830 BL1850 LXT Battery Converter, w/ USB Charge Port a.co/d/8kBTF4n
Let’s see the final result If 3/4 drain stops up, then the water runs down inside wall, not detected until wall is rotted out?
calm down negative nancy it looks good to me..
Why did you put the new one upside down compared to the original one?
It was the same position. It's probably just my camera angle in the video.
How does it work on 7/8 lineset. 7/8 repeatedly used?
Works great on 7/8 pipe. But like my hand held Hilmor bender , I spray a little WD-40 on the cam to prevent kinking.
Good job, like it
Chris, appreciate the review, glad to hear that our product worked for you! I designed the box to make installs better for our own ductless installs after dealing with frustrations from dealing with trade related damage and air leakage issues from the backing plates. I’m a 3rd generation HVAC contractor and just am trying to create products that helps my installers do a better job and protects our components during the construction process. Jason, thanks for the comment. I really like your rough in box for the simplicity and versatile options during rough in. I hope to do a video with 100% completion also. I've been in HVAC for 30 years and love new products that make our jobs easier and cleaner. I'm glad to hear you guys are local also. I'm down in the Tacoma / Puyalluo area . And I think I bought your product at Johnstone if that matters. Take care, and thanks again.
Don't you lose vacuum that way?
Lose vacuum which way ?
@chrisb1899 putting In values before releasing the refrigerant? From how I was taught is to release first after vacuum then put In the valves
Can't find that on Amazon. Can you post an actual link?
ERP IG9998 Universal Gas Range Oven Igniter, multicolor a.co/d/iLRjJaR
UA-cam isn't allowing a link for some reason. Here's the description on Amazon. ERP IG9998 Universal Gas Range Oven Igniter
Never mind i heard u say a 50 ft lineset. Not bad i think I’m getting this vacuum pump im tired of trying to find power and using a cheater cord
I was as well. I have majority of Milwaukee tools so it's nice having this vac pump as a option. I also have a Navac cordless with a makita / Milwaukee battery adapter that works just as well.
How long was the lineset if u remember
He said 50’
Do you need to unplug anything?
I didn't unplug power if that's what you meant. I just left the gas oven know turned off. I left a link on another comment regarding the part model if needed.
I didn't catch what Blueridge Model system you used. Is it M2, M3, M4, M5? S1, S2, S3, S4, S5?
The 2 zone outdoor was a BMKH18LM21 . M3 series. You can mix and match the indoor cassettes as needed. The single zone was a S1 series. BMY917.
Excelente
Actually the single zone unit seems to be a Midea rebage
These are actually rebadged Gree units. Lennox also rebadges gree
You're right. The error codes and Wi-Fi set up are from a Gree manual. Just like RunTru mini splits , but they seem solid for the most part. Haven't had any crazy issues so far.
Give it a couple years Blue ridge minisplits are trash
Well done son. It looks better than dragging out 100 feet of extension cords.
True ! It's stout for a cordless pump but convenient when 80% of my tools are Milwaukee.
looks like a red navac pump
Br Bre
What vacuum hose? 1/2 Navac Big Boy High-Flow?
It's a yellow jacket vacuum hose. 1/2 by 1/4. I've got the big blue hose but this works just as good. I've done at least 50 jobs with same hose and not replacing gaskets ( o-rings ).
Great job brother! Straight to the point, keep up the good work! Its been cooler then a polar bears toe nails around my house now thanks to you, start calling you Vanilla ice haha 🧊 😎 🧊
Thank you sir! It's a fun job for sure. Hope we have more hot days so you can still use it.
Where did you get that magnetic thing that you hung your gauges on?
Trane Supply. I believe it's made by Yellow Jacket.
Great job. I have been wanting to try out but thought price was a little high. I have a Navac cordless and works great also.
I thought there price was high too but then I realized it comes with a m18 8.0 battery and I think those alone are like $250
Thanks ! I have a Navac cordless with makita to milwaukee adapter also. However it's only 2 CFM. The Milwaukee has been great for longer lineset or larger commercial unit systems.
