I grew up in Ignace as well and I remember seeing a moose one time on the west end of Agimac Creek on the West side of West Street, just in the flats south of the Post office. That would have been in the late 1970's. The post office had just moved from the corner of James and Front Streets, across from the Legion and my Grandmothers house.
