I like the look of the self-contained case Hcalory uses, and it appears there's easy access to the interior workings if one needs to get into it for maintenance/repair.

Nice little unit. If I weren't so heavily invested in Ecoflow gear, Bluetti would probably be my other choice to use.

First you said it charges up and under an hour, but then you said by solar it takes about 11 hours to charge up so how do you set it up to charge in an hour clearly not with the solar panel plug-in but… What?

I’m sorry but these “installation” videos aren’t any good. As someone who hasn’t wired any lights previously people need to know where the wires get connected. And not from 5 feet away from the vehicle. Like, up-close to the actual connection. How would anyone like it if computer instructions were just as vague. Oh yeah, just connect that there and start push the button and it’s all good 😆👍🤦🏻‍♂️

How long does it take you to charge from the alternator in your car?

Why is 20 mins content of tires, a tent raising or cooking interesting? How is that novel or enlightening about Trona, a uniqu desert scape? I learned more in the first two mins with captures of the story boards than all the rest of the video. Whoever hasn't seen that content before, please speak up, at least you'll help this guy's algo desperations.

Not too shabby! I still have my old school Coleman (screw onto the top of the green bottle) stove that I have been using since we deployed to Afghanistan back in '02. It didn't fail me then and is still kicking! I'm not opposed to changing and upgrading but don't think I'll ever get rid of that old girl! (I see your coins on the shelf in the background too!) Concur on the smaller diameter pans being a bit iffy, but the way the griddle fits w/o sliding around looks to be a plus. 👍

Thank you for the clear instructions for the 800w alternator charger. I have a 2022 F250 Diesel with a 220w alternator. Your steps will be easy to follow ( I think, haha). I'm an old retired school teacher who loves a challenge. I'm just waiting for the price to come down just a tad more. It's now $400 and with a 5% military discount. Every bit helps. I think you are the best out there so far. Two other videos said also not to connect the "negative" cable to the negative part of battery but to the ground like you did. That's comforting to know. Looks like a nice device to control all of your lights/etc. The remote will definitely save some trips in and out of the rtt.

The size, light-weight, water-resistance, durability to being dropped, Usb C capabilities, and digital capacity read-out, look to be some nice attributes 👍. Currently been running (since 2021) a couple of slim Anker units (very similar to what you showed) when camping, for phone charging. Good devices with decent mAh capacity (26800 & 20000), however, they don't have a Usb C feature, no digital read-out, and they have a little bit of weight to them.

Well done and answered my questions on the alternator charger from Ecoflow. I have a Delta 2 I plan on connecting it to. EcoFlow had a sale on these units @ 199.00 so I purchased one. I also recently bought a Pecron alternator charger but it was on back order but it finally showed up, so now I have two unit. Waiting for a sale on Ecoflows big battery to connect to Delta 2 trying to slowly build my system. I have 200w Renogy foldable panels and I plan on putting another 400w on van roof .

👍 My little Hiker Trailer has a Victron thing-a-mabob that handles the charging duties (via shore power 120v AC) for the LFP onboard batteries. Has worked with no problems so far for two years.

Nice video. I recently installed the EcoFlow 800W charger as well on my 2024 PW (video on my channel). It works great. I ran my cable a different way through my firewall and sealed it with a PG21 corded strain relief and some black RTV sealant but still ended up underneath the driver side seat similar to your setup. My PW has the dual alternator option that puts out 380A so plenty of juice to run the charger and everything else.

So I’m curious what “Alaska feels like?” I live here still feels like Alaska until all the tourists show up by the thousands.

I !ov e both the kettle and the nomad..Recently was.in the forest with a total ban on propane or wood fires. Still got to enjoy bacon and eggs using the monad system.

Nice drone shots, and the food looked tasty also. I'm too claustrophobic to have camped in such close quarters to so many people. We ventured to a campground yesterday, and ended up coming home today, due to the unexpected (wasn't forecast) high temps and humidity. Didn't bother taking the Wave 2, and wasn't spending today or tonight there.

since receiving my EcoFlow products it’s been a nightmare. My alternator charger will not work. The technicians refuse to update my equipment, meaning nothing works. All of my equipments firmware is updated. On the official EcoFlow website they are selling products that are currently out of stock with no future date for delivery. The products extremely proprietary design makes them useless. They are not serviceable nor do they function. EcoFlow tech support is unresponsive and nearly nonexistent. It’s is certain you need to contact their tech support because their products ship defective or bricked. The products are very over priced. If the products worked with tech support the products might have value. But they do not work and you cannot get help to make them function. EcoFlow return policy is predatory. If you are missing one tiny price of information they deny any product replacement. They will not substitute products. They will not refund your money. They charge high restocking fee and will not cover shipping the broken equipment back to the company. Frustrated customers are resorting to filing claims to recover their money and the broken equipment is thrown away at a loss to the consumer in the thousands of dollars. Do not buy EcoFlow products. You can get better value buying your products from other companies. If you chose EcoFlow you will loose your money, be stuck with broken equipment, and they will not replace or repair your product. EcoFlow is very expensive. It is not worth the risk doing business with them.
