I saw the O.G. Misfits in Austin Tx back in August. They kicked ass. Agnostic Front, Reverend Horton Heat,and Suicidal Tendencies all put on a great show. Got a shirt and a poster from the show. 🙂

I saw the Misfits on the Ressurection Tour in 96,at Texas Sky Park in Corpus Christi. They all came out and signed my ticket stub after the show, i have my ticket stub somewhere.

I used to have the first Danzig album on Vinyl Gate Fold. It disappeared a few years back. Damn thing sells well on line. Hope the bitch that stole it made a pretty penny (sarcasm implied if you didn't already realize).

John really had the touch when it came to fleshing out Glenns songs . Not overly fancy , just right . That lineup was outstanding

Met Danzig in 87-88, I was 14. He body checked me through the door of the small club he was playing and stared at me with complete hate. When the band started I got up front. I was wearing a Pushead Misfits shirt and he just glared at me for almost the entire show. It was disturbing. Then someone in the pit hit me in the mouth and my front teeth tore through my lip, I looked up and Glenn and John Christ were smiling. Great show though.

I was disappointed with the movie as well but for a different reason. I wanted more of the lore and backstory. I was so disappointed that Pale Face Girl wasn’t in this movie, and I don’t really like Vicky as a character. They should’ve left her a dead character. The second movie was Gold, so I hope the next film takes a step back to focus more on the story

Yea i played drums in a couple death metal bands but never liked death metal too much and I love bands like Exodus, Slayer and really hard thrash stuff but yea death metal I cant stand! Opened for a band Incantantion back in the day and had a gig to open for Cannibal Corpse but wasnt into their music.Id be listening to Sabbath,Anthrax, Metallica, Danzig while theyd be listening to like obituary and stuff like that. Rock on man!! 🤘

Yea man i remember that Tower Records on South Street that place was huge! I remember there was a leather store that also sold underground bands a place called Zipperhead i think and i had saw 2 different deat& h Metallica bands i drummed for tapes i played on a band SpeedChrist and a band Insatanity and the singer he was from West Philly and i still remember going to a college studio over there to record a song with them.

Its crazy man i covered Long Way Back From Hell again yesterday on drums and ive lived in Jersey all my life grew up by Camden N.J. another real nice area haha Im Thankful I live out in The Pine Barrens now witch i have for a long time and its better than all the shit places i lived in Jersey but its still Jersey! He just wanted to talk about baseball and I wasn't into sports. He basically told me to get a copy from my one of my friends. Lol I was like 12 and none of my friends knew who they were. Tbf, I really liked Chud as a drummer, his stuff was great, loved his kit and his sticks as well. Their pre-show video montage that they played at the beginning of their set back then was great. Graves used to get into a lot of confrontations with fans for some reason. Marky's drumming on Project: 1950 is outstanding. I fondly remember seeing Jerry with Robo and Dez doing a Misfits/Black Flag set, it was excellent, love Robo. Spider Baby is a classic. 🦇🍻

The Ed Gein 'Fits/Necros poster is amazing... I met Jerry once, nice guy for sure. So Sardonica was Sal B's band, wasn't it? He's friends with Jerry and Doyle Graves era Misfits were great, especially doing their own thing, just not as good doing the Glenn material imo, but better than nothing! 🍻🦇
