Absolutely beautiful !! You both are a pleasure to watch. I enjoyed it thoroughly!! Keep skating through life.😊💐❤
Sweet.
Great collection of steam trains. Big , small, plain and beautifully decorated are all here. Seeing double steam doing what they are meant for!
Never seen sponsored pax cars before
What scale is this? 7.25 or 7.5
Hi Michael the track is 7.25"
Next time you are there, ask for Ben :) Awesome footage bud!
Have been twice there and it was always a great show. Since I live in Germany, I enjoy your video quite a lot, it catches the feeling I had then years ago.
I was honored to have flown her for over 10 years. I was the pilot that brought her in the first time to Christchurch. I will miss the good people of New Zealand
So epic
Sofia Sofia beautiful 🤩
Are they retiring SOFIA?
Yes, she has about 30 more flights out of Palmdale and then she will be decommissioned. Not entirely sure where she will be going but hopefully it will be at a flight museum somewhere.
Another great video. Many thanks for posting. Sadly, after many years of SOFIA's down under deployments, Christchurch winters wont be quite the same without our annual visitor. Most birds fly north for the winter season, however, this big bird always flew south.

Excellent video. Thank you for posting. Great to relive this wonderful experience again. SOFIA will be sadly missed by the people of Christchurch having generated a big following in this city. Hopefully, it goes to an aircraft museum & not the scrap heap. Did you capture the final departure & fly buy?
Yes Final departure link Thank you enjoy 😀 ://ua-cam.com/video/fFh7G1rug2c/v-deo.html
Love this!!! I teared up watching her fly away for the final time and thank you, thank you for including me in this video ❤️
Did you get to see EX Amtrak F40PHR unit 281 when you were there???
Excellent video, thanks, where about's in NZ are you ?
New subscriber!
I love tehachapi
Thank you for sharing
I love the old tunnels
Beautiful
How lucky to find this channel, I really like the videos, since it shows in detail the passage of the trains, with the real sound. I am from Chile and I was in those places in 2018 and 2019, enjoying the trains. Thank you for sharing and giving me the opportunity to remember those beautiful places
Thanks Ricardo We have been really fortunate to make some wonderful friends on our visits over the years. They have taken us to so many fantastic places and it certainly helps that they are rail fans. We are looking forward to a time when we can once again leave New Zealand to visit with those friends in both America and Canada. In the meantime like you I enjoy watching videos and the fond memories they bring to mind. Enjoy
Great video. Spectacular video, from different angles. The real sound is priceless. See and hear the passing of the trains as if it were there (I'm 5,000 miles away).Thank you very much for the video, thank you very much for the music (the real sound of the trains)
Thank you for your lovely comments, it is great to know that other people are enjoying my videos.
Espetacular
As a ex renzenberger driver out of California i enjoyed driving in Kansas city
thanks for that
2.42 just about got a deer
With the track improvement project completed, we don't have nearly as many trains having to hold in the valley. Great video--thanks!!!
This was the railfans day which was to help with the return to service of Di 1102

GREAT MUSEUM, HORRIBLE STATE.
IM4 OUR own home page having problems with my family members.
Marvelous video. You really got the feel of the museum and Old Town Sacramento.
Thank you Mark for your complimentary reply. We were there for about three hours and had a wonderful time taking videos and photos. It is a great place to visit if you have free time in Sacramento. Robin
NZR 1543 Robin, unfortunately I go there as often as possible. Several very good friends either volunteer or work there. I was just down to the museum in April to get the last of the measurements of the J. W. Bowker as well as detail photos of it. I met up with my friend who let me into the museum long before they opened up that morning. We went through the back door. It was a unique experience to have the whole to myself without anyone there. I also do a certain amount of research as it pertains to Virginia and Truckee locomotives and had the. opportunity to check out a particular detail on the Genoa that during normal hours I couldn't do. My friend who also does considerable research on that RR was surprised I'd discovered some new information. So the up shot is I'm at the museum as much as I can be. Also if you've never been to the Nevada State RR Museum RR in Carson City, Nevada I highly recommend it, especial on a day when they're running all the operable equipment.....usually on the 4th of July. (I use to volunteer there, but can't work with the train crew anymore due to severe back problems, but I try to make it over there when I can.) Anyway, thank you so much for a wonderful video. Take care. Mark
P.S. great video!
Are you with the RR? Most people catch heat going into the loop. UP has the mountain pretty well locked up with trespassing signs.
Hello Scott, Thank you for your feedback. No, I do not belong to the RR. I live in New Zealand and was visiting with good friends who live in Tehachapi while I was on holiday. They are locals so they know other folk in the area which is how I managed to gain access to these places in Tehachapi. All my filming was done on a Sony DSLR A77 M2. I viewed your videos of Tehachapi and PCH and thoroughly enjoyed the great shots from your drone having just visited the coastline before arriving in Tehachapi. What is the range that you have with your Drone? I thought the video of the derailment would have been at the high end of its range. Cheers, Robin, NZ
