I thought so too! Looks good in 4K and I guess they updated some of the textures for the PC version. Still low-poly but as good as it's going to get without a remake I think.

As far as I can tell, one person has to pick up the other and the one being held has to break free, probably by mashing buttons and moving the joystick. Good luck!

​@@Shush_Games besides the qol that dqb 1 steam added, you'll love dqb2. No auto open doors or walking up a 1 block high block.

I'll bet, I had a tough time on Advanced, I can only imagine. Seems like it's a good idea to kill as many as you can for cash/powerups but not if you lose units or get heavily damaged in the process. There are probably optimal routes too but no idea what those would be. Anyway, good luck!

It's all part of my full playthrough, not just a video about how to throw a skull into a lake. At least now your comment can serve as a shortcut to that part.

​@@Shush_Games bud, most of us are here just cuz we wanna progress, maybe u should do a full guide of all puzzles or troubles people have on the game, that would give good views cuz there is little amounts of guides about this game

Nothing terribly exciting. It was presented as a rogue-lite so I thought I may have to start over or pick new characters or something but it just took me back to my last save.

I do plan to! Unfortunately this is all the further I've gotten so far but if I get there soon and figure it out I'll let you know!

Did you ever figure out the part you were stuck on? I'm up to the boss of that area now.

Glad to have helped! I was more annoyed that when I finally figured it out on my own and tried to use the item it didn't work, but once I took another step forward the game did it for me 😄

@@Shush_Games That is literally why I was here too. I spent an hour going back and forth everywhere until I saw your video. This is one of those games where you have to explore everywhere and backtrack all the time to progress. It's pretty confusing. I'm 8 hours into the game and I don't even know how the scales work.

@@joeybeann It does seem to get a bit more linear later on from what I've noticed but apparently this one tripped a lot of us up! I'm not 💯 on the scales either TBH. I get different items give different bonuses and apparently they're better if the scales are balanced but that's about it.

I loved the Apocalypse arm, this was my first run using it but that plus a +crit accessory was pretty OP. Using Heal was cutting it close for sure but managed to squeak it out!

I'm always bad at stealing items. I finally started around the Black Omen this time but I never stole anything as a kid, heh. I also went into the extra dungeons more or less blind; I did play the DS version when it came out (and the SNES one many times!) but didn't remember anything about these. Maybe next time I'll think about stealing sooner, though I still won't remember which bosses do what without looking it up 😆

Nice, yeah I struggled with that one a bit. I love low-HP strats but never have the guts to use 'em 😄

Well the 2 Nu bosses barely take damage from spells that's why I used both Ayla/Frog against them but still DO steal the elemental absorbing armors off the Giant's Claw Boss Son of Sun Yakra the 13th and the Geno Dome Mother Brain boss. However Steal the Red Plate off of the Giant's claw 600 AD boss BEFORE trying to Steal the Black Plate off of Son of Sun itself since that boss spams flare constantly. Also the Black Nu does NOT absorb Flare so Frog/Lucca use the 2x Frog Flare 2x tech at 1 HP left for Frog MAY do more damage then Frog Squash + Dino Tail used against it.
