Baling first cut with the MF 5711, Case inline square baler and bale accumulator on June 26, 2024.

Planting the oats on April 17, 2024 before the rain comes. Using the MF 5711, the John Deere FB seed drill and an antique roller.

In my previous video, I was trying to get it raked and baled before it rained. Guess what happened... so now I'm spreading them with my Massey Ferguson 5711 and a New Holland 163 tedder. This saves the colour of the hay (doesn't bleach out from the sun) and dries much faster. Would normally use the JD 920 to ted, but the wheel bearing did not arrive yet.

Put my Ram truck on raking duty after the front wheel bearing on my John Deere 920 let go. Rain was coming, and needed to get it raked!

Picking the corn with a one row New Idea corn picker. This is the same field that was double cropped, with rye as white straw, then planted with a short season corn hybrid. Used the MF 5711 to pull it.... not sure I had enough power. LOL

This is how I turn the windrows of second cut hay when the hay draws moisture from the ground overnight using the New Holland 56 rake. I find this seeds the drying time, especially in the fall. Video was recorded on September 2nd, 2021.

Cultivating the corn with the MF 5711 and a Glenco row crop cultivator on July 1st, 2021. I'm experimenting this year with some low heat unit (2400) corn after taking off a cereal rye crop as white straw. Will updating as the year progresses. Using the bigger tractor because of the stabilizer bars make for a better job... and the air conditioning! Thanks for watching!
