I use Onyx to view the highways and vocal lane. A video editor lets me splice it all together with a poorly-recorded RB3 video background, too! 😄

Yes, the two are different! I originally used the one from the video, but one of the heads from the Clone Hero admin told me I needed to replace it because it was a poor-quality song file. I found the new one and liked it more, so I used it for the final. I hope that clears it up for you!

You are right about it sounding like a double strum there. However, after I separated the song into stems, it appeared to be the work of the drums that make it sound like another strum is performed there. I decided to take the "let's not overchart it" route. :)

Yes! The solo works nicely with the rest of the song, so yeah! I found this version on my old computer's hard drive from about fifteen or so years ago, so I have no idea where I got it from! If I had to guess, I'd say the band's MySpace page. I feel like it was a remastering of some sort, but Lord only knows. XD

Hey! It's a pleasure messaging you on here! I saw your promo video from over a decade ago! It's incredible that your band is still on here, because I was unable to find anything prior to making this chart. If I remember correctly, there was a contest of some sort for bands to have their tracks included into one of the Guitar Hero installments early in the series' lifespan and this song was one of the contesting tracks. I don't recall seeing much of the contest on public forums for very long thereafter, though. If I may ask, what happened on your side of the contest? Is everything still good with the band?

Those jabs are surprisingly easy to make because of how strikingly different the two are: Thrasher focuses heavily on the physics of skating while the certain other skating game focuses on making the tricks and combos super easy to pull off (almost as if they were aiming for a different audience *cough*). The medley was tough to make. The songs all run similar tempos, so mixing and matching was probably the easiest part. As for Sonic, you were one of many up in arms, my friend! That design was atrocious. I could see what they were going for, but the ends did not justify the means there.

True! The amount of damage you could dish out was rather extreme, although I feel like the player deserved to be able to do that by that point in the game. Some of the textures were muddy, sure, but that didn't take away from the overall feel I got from the characters. It's fine for people to feel one way or the other about it, though. Maya was a beast once her spells were unlocked! Paired with Rivas' healing abilities, she became a mainstay in my party for the rest of the game! Her motions were fluid and captivating, which is exactly how I picture fantastical magic to be performed! I feel like when compared to Final Fantasy 7, this game wins. Even the ancestor, Legend of Legaia, has many merits that work far better than FF7's formula. I might have to save some of those points for a future video!
