The Kirbys are a rock band lead by husband wife team Andrew and Kate Kirby who write music and perform together as a duo or band. Our songs styles are varied, but we have been described as Modern Classic Rock, Americana Rock, Alternative Folk Rock and more. No matter what you call our style, our mission is to spread joy, love and kindness through our music. Our channel features performance videos around our home in Texas and life on the road as we travel playing venues and private events with our beautiful dog Bella. Our subscribers are lovingly referred to as Moon Children, named both after one of The Kirbys' most popular songs, 'MoonChild', and also because they show integrity, love and unity with a deep connection to emotion and energy in music.

Yeah, Boogie Woogie came from 12-bar blues, for sure. What makes it boogie Woogie is the tempo. It’s dance music. They say that style of blues was a bridge to Rock and Roll. Marshall, TX claims to be the birthplace of Boogie Woogie.
