Originally, Rocko was Yellow, but some Korean Toy Company forced Joe Murray to recolour him since it looked identical to some Korean Toy. Joe Murray did not like the Change at all.
And they end up didn't make the toy at all. What a jerk!

Because they were going to make toys of him so that's why they had to change to color of him
Rocko is originally yellow, then they change his color to beige after the pilot due to a toy company force Joe Murray to change Rocko's color. Yellow is the original intended color for Rocko.

i really find the original animation style really charming, how every different shot looks imperfect. it would be pretty interesting to see the whole series animated the way that the pilot was
