Parkinson's exercise. Gait training on the Alter G.
Переглядів 4208 років тому
Gait training is a very important aspect of training for people suffering from Parkinson's . The Alter G treadmill is a great tool to train clients in a safe and very effective way . It is also great to train with intensity and develop cardio vascular fitness while firing up dopamine receptors. @nutrition_and_fitness_coach

Exercise for Parkinsons. ALTER G Training
Переглядів 1348 років тому
The Alter G has been incredibly beneficial for my clients with Parkinsons. They can train in total safety without the risk of falling. Tony maximum speed when he had his first session was 5km/h and he was overjoyed by his achievement. 8 months later he was running at the maximum speed 19.2. www.nutritionandfitnesscoach.co.uk

    The thing with RDX gloves is that they actually weigh more than advertised. The RDX T1 I purchased in 10oz but when I weighed the glove it came to be around 16oz. The same glove in 16oz weighs closer to 18oz.

    Honestly I had both and I like the ep750 better just cause the i don’t care about the sound but the ep750 doesn’t make any sound when you move it around cause it has that nice metal and honestly I really like that since the ep650 is like loud plastic and the ear muff things never wore down with ep750 but it did with the ep650

    I’ve got the 16 oz these exact glove I’ve weighed them and they are 24oz what is that about that’s crazy I thought they felt heavy after 30min on the bag

    A Big THANK YOU for saving me $50 and reviewing these two side by side! I originally was going to buy the EP750 because i thought at $100 they would dominate the $50 EP650 but i heard for myself the difference in volumes. I need a set that has good volume as well as good sound and clearly the EP750 does not! I can buy two EP650's for the cost of one EP750!

    That’s all good and well BUT if your working bags pads , these gloves are way too heavy ! 16 oz are for sparring and heavy bag work ! If you want fitness and pads ur looking at 10-12 oz gloves that’s what u fight in so your used to the weight and the impact ! I went from 10 oz to 16 oz r d x and I found I couldn’t lift my arms after 5-6 rounds of intense bag pad work .

    Hey, coach, thanks for the review, very informative. Could you, please, make a review of fairtex aero vs revgear air? Also, I think, it would be even more useful, than it is right now, if you could also show the pads in action, if you could hit them full power or an pther person, of you could do that on the camera. Thank you very much and have a great day!

    Thanks for the awesome informative review it really helped me in deciding which gloves might work for my needs . here is my 2 cents- I bought the orange f-12s in 16oz (actual weight) and the yellow T-1s in 14oz (18+ oz on the scale which didn't bother me ) I,m 5'7'' 170lbs with small to regular size hands similar to the reviewer & I strictly use these gloves for my cardio kickboxing class (heavy bag) out of the box the16oz f-12s preformed perfect with wraps. The 14oz T-1s were a little snug especially with wraps but the wrist support is amazing. The T-1s for the first week or so were a little uncomfortable & did give me numbness in my right thumb ( I tried wrapping my hands differently but it didn't help) .After about 7 classes (each 45min of hard bag hitting) The T-1s have broken in nice with no more pain or numbness. I briefly tried the t-1s in 16oz ( the scale weight was some where between 18-19oz) they had a lot more room and they felt good out of the box , but I still prefered the glove like fit of my broken in 14oz T-1s . Overall my experience with these gloves is positive the f-12s are great but the T-1s will give you solid wrist support & longevity from the leather construction as well ;just keep in mind they probably are gunna weigh more than they say (I'm glad I hung in there while breaking in the 14oz t-1s ; it was well worth the hurt ). Also stay away from 14oz Sanubuls especially if you have regular/smaller hands they had way too much room & little to no wrist support.

      I agree with the Sannabul. It is an excellent glove as far as construction and very cushy but the handbox was huge in 14's. Ive thought about trying a smaller size because I liked the feel so much but the tapered front kind of throws me off as well. Still using my RDX's.

    hi I'm fairly new to boxing just started doing some pad work with a personal trainer for fitness couple months ago .I bought a set of rdx gloves and the start I found them to be pretty decent but I think after they breaking in a bit for the last couple of weeks my knuckles are hurting after nearly every session also I feel like the inner lining is starting to come apart .so I thinking of buying something a bit better .I'm not by any means a heavy hitter as up to few months ago I had never done boxing and as I said only using them on pads 3 times a week ..so I question the quality of rdx

    • @nutritionandfitnesscoach7267
      @nutritionandfitnesscoach7267 7 років тому

      tomas o sullivan Hi tomas, I always advise to wear inner padded gloves. Also make sure you clinch your fists when you hit the pads and dont hit hard on bags but rather work on your speed, movement, breathing and fluidity. I also use foam sticks instead of pads sometimes with my clients to minimize the impact.

    I purchased the T-1's (the yellow ones in this video) They truly are fantastic. They are my favorites so far between Venom,Sannabul and Combat Sports. This video was one of 3 or 4 that helped me choose. This guy just seemed to hit a nail with me. Even though I dont know him I believed he knew what he was talking about. Very good review, took a while to get there but good review..
